"It sounds to me like your friend doesn't have any room to talk then." Finley said, a quiet laugh escaping her lips. She was glad that Piper had gone over to talk to the bloke. She'd noticed her friend eyeing him up, and she probably would have said something had Oliver not walked over to the table. Not that she was complaining about that or anything. She quite liked talking to Oliver. "One place I really want to go...probably somewhere in Italy, or Los Angeles."
Josh let out a quiet chuckle, unable to help doing so when he saw the cute pout forming on her full, pink lips. This girl was cute, and in all honesty, he was really glad Oliver had texted him to ask him to meet up today, because, well, if he hadn't, he wouldn't have had the opportunity to talk to Piper. "I wouldn't be opposed to that." He said honestly, though he knew she was only joking. A look of confusion crossed over his features for a moment at her later words. It seemed as though Oliver hadn't told the girls who he was, and apparently the girls didn't recognize either of them. He wasn't about to rat his friend out, so he went along with it. "Yeah, loads actually. I'm hardly ever home."

"Really?" Piper asked, her smile growing. Visiting Finley here in England was as close as she was ever going to get to going on adventures and seeing the world. Whenever she got back home she would most likely be sheltered back into the house at most hours of the day, staring at college brochures from all over the place and drawing cities she's seen from the internet. "That's kind of sad, though, hardly ever home. What if you had a little kitty? It would be so lonely," she said. If she was left behind all the time, she'd feel neglected and lonely. "Are you planning on running off for some amazing adventure any time soon?" she asked, hoping that it was a no, that she had time to see him again after today, maybe, and hang out or something. He didn't seem like the type that was secretly some kind of an ax murderer.
"Italy and Los Angeles," Oliver hummed. He had been to both places and loved them both; he loved every place he went, as long as he didn't get in trouble there for some reason. "They are both really beautiful places. Italy was just.. just phenomenal, but I think I like Los Angeles better out of the two; I see more art there. Everywhere you turn there's something there that's beautiful, most artists sitting on the sidewalk playing for money, and graffiti," he said, rambling on a bit more about the city and just how wonderful he thought that it was before he caught himself.

"It sounds amazing." Finley said, honestly pretty captivated just by what he was telling her about both places. She could only somewhat begin to imagine it herself. She had only ever seen pictures online or in travel magazines, but she doubted that those necessarily gave either place any justice whatsoever. She was just going to have to experience it for herself. She didn't know when that would be, but she hoped that it would be sooner rather than later. Her brother would be old enough to take care of himself soon enough, so maybe it would happen. She could only hope though.
Josh shrugged his shoulders. "I suppose I'm used to it by now." He said, which was the honest truth. He was used to being gone for extended periods of time. Sure, he missed being home, and whenever he was in a relationship, he missed his significant other, and of course he missed his family too, but it was something that, over time, he had just gotten used to. He chuckled slightly at her later words, shaking his head in response. "Nope, not that I'm aware of."

Piper pressed her lips together for a moment before bringing her drink to her lips and taking a sip. That was a bit sad. She didn't think that she would remember what home was like if she was always away like he seemed to be. She grinned when he said he didn't believe he was heading off any time soon. "Good, I think I'd quite like to see you again before I have to head back home, even if that's not until the end of summer," she said. Piper's fingers fiddled around with things like her cup and her hair, playing around to keep them busy, pausing when her face lit up as she got an idea, one she thought quite brilliant. "Finley and I are going clubbing tonight - you and Oliver should come too! Uhm, not that you have to, just that it'll be loads of fun," she proposed. It seemed like a grant idea to her.
"I'll have to dig out some pictures and show you, yeah?" Oliver asked. He could probably just google his name and the place and there'd be millions of pictures there from fans and the random pap shots, but it wouldn't be that personal, like the pictures the boys all got together, or those he took himself of stupid or silly things that he thought was cool and probably still thinks is cool. "Try and bring out even more of that wanderlust - that's the word right? All that need for adventures and travels? - well, whatever it is, to try and bring it out of you even more until you eventually do just go somewhere beautiful."

Finley smiled at his words. "Definitely." She said. If he wanted to show her pictures from his travels, well, surely that meant that he wanted to see her again after today, right? It seemed like that was the case to her at least. She nodded at his later words. "And I definitely will." She wasn't sure why, but something about him kind of just fascinated her. Maybe it was the way he spoke. He just seemed to have a way with words, and everything about him honestly kind of just captivated her and drew her in.
Josh could tell that she was still dwelling on what he had said a few moments before. "I do miss being home, don't get me wrong, but I love traveling too." He explained. A wide grin spread across his face at her later words. "I think that that could easily be arranged." He told her. Luck seemed to definitely be on his side today. He was talking to a pretty girl, but she was more than that. She was a pretty girl who wanted to see him again. "Seeing as Oliver's seemed to hit it off pretty well with your friend over there, I'm sure that he wouldn't be opposed to that."

Piper's smile grew when Josh said that they'd go. "Fantastic," she said, deciding that she was unable to wait until they would be there tonight, even if she would have to. She pouted a little when Oliver asked Josh if he was coming with him to fix someone's mistake. "Here," she murmured, grabbing a napkin and finding a pen left on the table, scribbled down her name and number on the paper before handing it to him with a smile.
When Finley said that she'd be up for seeing the pictures of the places, Oliver grinned, mind racking to try and figure out where he put all his pictures at. He decided on his laptop was the best bet since he was far too lazy to get them printed off. Even if he did, he had nowhere to put them - he was already encasing a room with all the letters fans would send him. His phone buzzed then, and he pulled it out to check the message before sighing. There was an apparent emergency going on at the store he would have to check out. "Looks like I have to get going - my brother can't handle the easiest of things I tell him to," he said, giving her an apologetic look before glancing over to Josh, wondering if he'd want to come along or stay. "I've got to go fix something Tom messed up, you coming?" he asked, voice carrying easily since there was hardly any sound in the cafe.

Finley was honestly a bit bummed that Oliver had to go. She'd really seemed to have hit it off with him, and she had really hoped that she'd get to talk to him some more. Just hearing about his travels and the really just hearing how he worded things, and well, just him as a person, was all just so fascinating to her. He was different from other guys. "You should probably see to that then." She said quietly, mustering up a small smile. She was tempted to give him her number, but she didn't want to come off as too forward or anything, and in all honesty, she wasn't exactly this flirty and extremely confident person.
Josh opened his mouth to say something more to Piper, but Oliver said something about having to go fix something that Tom had messed up. He glanced over to his friend and then back over to the pretty brunette seated across the table from him. "I actually offered to show Piper around..." He knew that she had only been joking earlier when she said that he might have to show her around sometime, but he wanted to talk more with her. "I'm sure that Finley wouldn't mind going with you though." He knew that Oliver hadn't told either of the girls who he actually was, but he didn't think there would be any harm in him bringing Finley to the shop with him.

"Alright, see you later then?" Oliver nodded his head before turning back to Finley, "Well, would you like to come with me? It's not too far away, and it'll be an easy fix, probably. Tom's always making stupid mistakes. We'll be in an out and we can stop and get some ice cream or something, yeah?" he asked her, hoping she'd really want to go with him. She had said that she would like to see the pictures he had of the places he has been, so why wouldn't she want to go with him while he fixed something at his shop? Of course, he would have to end up telling her that he had a clothing line that was going pretty good, but he hoped that who he was didn't click from there. He didn't want her to know who he was and then want to know him because he had money, or the opposite effect and not want to get to know him because he was in a band.
Piper found it sweet that he would rather show her around (even if she had never really asked him to, only said so if Finley had been too enticed by Oliver to do so) than to go with his friend to somewhere or another. "You could have gone with him - I wouldn't have minded," she told him, not wanting him to feel like he would have to be around her, that he could go with his friend if he really wanted to.

Finley had honestly kind of wanted to ask if she could go with him, but she really didn't want to impose or anything, so, when Josh suggested that Oliver bring her with him, she was extremely happy that he had done so. Glancing over to Oliver, a small smile tugging at the corners of her lips, she nodded. "Yeah, sure. That sounds great actually." She said.
"Yeah, see you late." Josh knew that he didn't have to show Piper around, but he wanted to. He wanted to spend more time with her, and get to know her better. And it was different than getting to know other girls, because she had no idea who he really was. She would get to know him for him, and not as the lead singer of You Me At Six. "It's fine, Piper. Really." He assured her, sending a smile her way.

"Great, come on then," he said, shoving his phone into the pocket of his jeans, which were thankfully not as tight as he used to wear when the band was starting out. He led her down the street towards the store, thinking that Tom probably just messed up ordering something for the store, which was a usual thing for him. Tom was an amazing photographer, but sometimes Oliver didn't know why his mum couldn't fix it, or if Tom would learn from his mistakes.
Piper could melt at the smiles that he was sending her, and would most likely gush all about it to Finley about it later on that day. "Okay," she said, wondering how she wasn't acting like a complete idiot. If she was around any other cute person, she would stutter and stay stupid things, but so far she was doing alright so far.

Finley knew that, as soon as she met back up with Piper later on that day, she was probably going to be gushing over all of this like a school girl talking about her new crush. With a small smile on her face, she followed Oliver out of the cafe and down the street. "So, where are we going exactly?" She asked, realizing that she didn't quite know where his brother was and what he was needing help with.
"I'm ready to head out whenever you are." Josh told her, taking a sip of his coffee. He wasn't really sure what it was about this girl that made him so eager to spend time with her. Sure, he'd enjoyed spending time with other girls in the past, but something about this was different. He didn't know how it was, but he kind of just knew.

Oliver lead her down the street at a lazy pace, not feeling the need to go any faster. "My store, it's just a few streets away. I, uh, own this clothing store with my own line and all that my family helps out with. Except, my brother's always messing little things up, can't help it though, he's a better photographer than anything else, really," he explained, figuring that 'his store' wouldn't really suffice when they actually got there and she could see how grand of a store it was, how successful he really was. He also really hoped that Tom wouldn't be an arse about him bringing a girl around and scare her off or something.
"Alright, let's go then," Piper said, since he was ready to go whenever, she was ready to go just then, excited to see the place with a boy who wanted to show it to her. She stood, picking up her cup that was still half full and warm, thankfully, since it was a lot colder in England than she thought it would be in the summer. Piper waited for him patiently before heading out the door with him. The whole idea of him showing him around excited her, made the little stories of boys who were so sweet that were met at a coffee shop seem so real.

Finley didn't really think much of what he said. A lot of people owned their own businesses, so she didn't really think about just how successful it might be or anything along those lines really. "That's actually really cool." She said, a small smile tugging at the corners of her lips. And she was being completely truthful too. She did think it was cool that he had his own clothing store and his own clothing line. It wasn't like everyone out there could say that.
"Alright." Josh said, grinning as he stood up. He picked up his coffee, figuring he'd finish the rest of it as he showed her around. Walking out of the little coffee shop with her, he paused once they were out on the sidewalk. "Is there anywhere in particular that you'd like me to take you?" He asked her, figuring that there must be something in London that she had always wanted to see.

"It funds a lot of the travelling," Oliver decided to say next, thinking that it worked nicely with the whole 'I'm always out on some sort of an adventure' thing he was trying to keep up. He hadn't even thought of what he was going to do if and when she found out he was really a musician, a pretty good one. Would she call him a liar and never want to speak to him again? Whatever would happen, Oliver didn't think about it, just walked down the street until they came across Drop Dead, opening up the door for her. "Here it is, Drop Dead," he said, glancing around the shop, seeing that it was a pretty slow day, just a few people around that he hoped wouldn't freak out because he was there. His brother peeked out from behind a door that led to all the stock they had, "Oliver! Oh thank god! They didn't send us any of the shirts we ordered, just a whole bunch of those flatbills, like way too many," he rambled, running over to his brother. Tom only took a moment to look at Finley, before turning back to Oliver, who sighed a little. "Love, you can go look around the store if you'd like, I've got to make a call real quick," Oliver told Finley with a little smile, walking to the back with his brother to find the little office they had and the phone, dialing the number for the company that made everything, and getting them to send them the shirts they needed as they would send some of the hats back. It was settled in no time and he patted his brother's back a little before heading back out to find the girl.
Piper pressed her lips together in thought as they stopped outside the little coffee shop. Finley had shown her a lot of little places that many tourists didn't go to, wanting to show her something she couldn't see on the internet, but they had completely skipped over the more popular tourist places that had caught her attention in the first place. "It might be a completely obvious tourist place, but the London Eye. Finley didn't want to take me to the places everyone likes to go to, only the little places that she thought would be better to see," she said, looking to him. The whole idea of being really high up and seeing everything was so amazing, she couldn't think of anything better.

Finley nodded. It made sense. Everyone needed to work somewhere or do something to fund travels and other things. Unless it was someone who came into money, but most people weren't that lucky. However, when she looked up at the store, it wasn't quite what she had been expecting. It was pretty apparent just how successful the business was, but the way Oliver had been talking about it, well, it just hadn't seemed to be what she was seeing right now. She liked it though. She felt like she could definitely see herself buying some things from there, and she was sure that Piper would have liked it too. She followed him inside, glancing around at everything before looking back to Oliver when a boy with pretty blue eyes, who she assumed was his brother, rushed over to him. "Alright." She said quietly, smiling slightly. She watched as he walked off before going to have a look around the store, soon ending up by some jumpers that had caught her eye.
Josh nodded. "The London Eye it is then." He said, sending a small smile her way. He could understand why her friend would have wanted to show her the places that most tourists didn't know about, but the touristy spots were great to see as well. "So, you obviously aren't from here. What part of the States are you from?" He asked curiously as he led her down the street. He wanted to get to know this girl as best as he could. He hoped that she was staying in London for a while. It would suck if she was leaving at the end of the week or something like that.

When everything was finished, Oliver headed out to find Finley, eventually doing so. "It's all better, thankfully. Big brother had to come save the day," he said, walking up behind her, thumbs hooked in the pockets of the tight jeans he wore. "See anything you'd like?" Oliver asked her, wondering if she liked his shop, or if it just wasn't her thing or something. If she saw something she liked, he would have no problem in taking it off the rack, getting all the security precautions like the inkwells off of it, and just giving it to her. Tom would be a jerk about it and say something stupid like 'he's Oli Sykes, of course he's just going to give things to a pretty girl' but it was true; if Oli liked a girl, he would spend money on them, oodles of it even if they didn't really want him to blow so much. He had the money, so why not spoil those he liked and loved?
Piper cradled the cup in her handles, taking some sips from it every now and then until it was empty, then tossing the cup in a trash can when they passed one. "Way far up north in this really small town in Maine, so I'm used to this cold weather, kind of," she answered, looking to him for a moment before turning her eyes back to where she was going so she didn't run into anyone. It would be her luck to get so used to living with Finley here in England, that going back home in the United States would be so strange; she wouldn't want to. She didn't want to go back home anyway.

Finley jumped slightly, having not heard Oliver come up behind her. It wasn't saying much though. She tended to be a bit of a jumpy person at times. She didn't know why, but she just was, and most of her friends, especially Piper, liked to point it out every chance that they got too. "That's good." She said quietly, sending a small smile his way. "Yeah, a few things actually." She told him honestly. Really she thought his shop was awesome. The designs were wicked, and she really just liked the whole vibe that seemed to be going on.
Josh nodded, about to ask what town in Maine, but he stopped himself rather quickly. He and the lads had played a couple of shows in Maine, and he knew that he could have easily lied and said he'd traveled there with Oliver a couple of times, but he knew that he should keep the lying to a minimum. If he didn't tell her the truth soon enough, and she found out on her own, well, he was sure that she wouldn't be all that happy with him. "How's London treatin' you so far?" He asked her curiously.

"Sorry, didn't mean to make you jump," Oliver grinned to her, wondering he if had really scared her, if she was just a jumpy person. He was glad to hear that she did like the shop, seeing a few things that had really caught her eye. "Alright, grab 'em and bring them to the register. Think of it as a gift for dragging you all the way out here just to deal with something Tom could've fixed easily," he said, sending her a charming little smile. He loved to spoil people, especially girls he liked.
"It's amazing. I've dreamt of coming here ever since I was a little girl, and I'm finally here," Piper said, "I've got until the end of summer here before I have to go back home for classes in the fall. I kind of don't want to go back, though." Piper tried to avoid the word 'school' thinking that it sounded way too young and high school like, opting for 'classes' like she was some college kid. She wasn't completely lying, Piper was taking some AP classes that if she passed, she would have college credits for the following year wherever she planned to go, so technically she was taking some college-like classes.

"Oh, it's fine. I'm a bit of a jumpy person." Finley smiled sheepishly, shrugging her shoulders. She was honestly a bit surprised by his later words, and she was sure that the surprise was written all over her face. "Are you sure?" She asked, biting down on her lower lip lightly. She was sure that this stuff wasn't cheaply-made or anything, and she didn't want to impose or anything like that. It was just the type of person that she was though.
Josh couldn't help grinning when she said that she would be in London for the rest of the summer. That meant that he had a couple of weeks to possibly hang out with her before she had to head back over to the States. And he definitely planned on hanging out with her more, because, well, she seemed like an awesome person, and so far, he was getting on really well with her. "That's cool. What're you studying?" He asked, assuming that she was a university student.

Oliver could hear how surprised she was, and see it written on her face jut because he told her she could have the stuff she liked. "I'm positive, love. A few jumpers or something isn't going to break me. Really, go get what you want and I'll meet you up at the register," he said, making her know that he was serious. "Don't argue, it's fine."
Piper hoped that saying she was going to be here the rest of the summer made him a bit happy and want to spend some of that time with her. He was just insanely awesome and beautiful and she wanted to spend more time with him. "I'm an art major, be done a year earlier because of the AP classes I told my senior year of high school. I really don't know what I'm going to do with an art degree, but I'll figure it out." Liar. She was planning on an art major next year at a nice little liberal arts school halfway across the country.
