Do we want to plan ahead and decide what side gets the weapon, or should we leave that for a later date?

Also, does anyone have any ideas for a short description or story summary? I'm kind of stumped but I can come up with something in a pinch if need be.

Also, any chapter outlines you have for your character can be popped in here so we're ready for starting to write! Once we've got everything finalised and a banner / layout, I'd like to get the ball rolling.

Is there anything else we need to decide on or sort out that I should add to the to do list at the moment, do you think?

I think they should both get the weapon for a bit in the story. That'd throw up everything.

And I'll be getting started on the layout soon...promise! And chapter outlines will be brilliant, so hold onto this space for mine...

What do you think of the idea of both sides getting the weapon for a bit? I think it'd work well because then we can see the full power of both sides. See them both being a little ruthless.

It's settled then, that's both sides getting a taste of the weapon.

And here's my first chapter outline!

Othniel is on the front lines of a battle between the angels and demons, watching the chaos from a safe perch out of sight. His orders to approach the fight have not been confirmed, so he is waiting patiently. Another of Heaven's soldiers stands beside him and mentions how horrific the loss of life will be when the battle is over. Othniel shrugs this off, carefully reasoning that the loss of life is necessary. One life to save thousands.

It kind of sucks, but I'll touch it up tomorrow.

My First chapter outline

Pyros hears about the battle right before it's almost over. By the time she gets there it's a wasteland of angels and demons. She finds one of the commanders of hell's army and another demon leader crouching over him. The dead commander was one person she thought she could call friend and often helped her in her quest to become beloved of her father. She screams at the other commander and it's put in her place. She wasn't told to come to battle because she would lash out rashly. She leaves with wounded pride, a heavy heart and a vow. She would avenge her fallen friend and bring the relic to her father.

Ah, don't worry about it. I have so many uni deadlines within the next week that I may be fairly inactive in here.

Too much work. But I will get the layout done on Wednesday because it's NUT's strike day and the majority of teachers at my school are part of that union so we have the day off.

I think my first chapter will be about her being promoted after the other angel dies and she organises her first group of angels to go on the attack to the other side.

Clara will no longer be writing, sadly, so I'm going to take over her spot. I probably couldn't do the character she was writing complete justice, so I'll be making a few tweaks to that sort of thing over the next day or so, once I get myself settled back into my own house and do everything else that I need to do on here.

In terms of writing, is everyone ready to start, or do we need anything else cleared up before we begin?

Alright:

Encratia is summoned and delivered the promotion after news of the previous leader being killed. She assembles a small group of angels and organises their line of attack on the other side.

Also the layout is done but I'm not happy with the picture so I'm going to tweak that tomorrow and then put it on the story body for you guys to see. Other than that, I'm ready to write (although I would love if we could also outline more of what's to come).

That's wicked, I'm excited to see the layout! We'll definitely be doing more outlining in the days to come, I think there are one or two things we need to finalise in terms of what body we actually want in the story. We have a pretty good spread of characters (I'll get my final draft for the other demon character up later on tonight), so we could probably show the war and the political side of things, but we really do need to think of how we're bringing this to a climax. What's the big event that's going to happen and how does it affect the characters, stuff like that.
