Death's brow rose as he smiled and wrapped his arms around her, bringing her closer, "Really? And what do you consider 'asking nicely'?" He teased, leaning close, "This?" He pressed a very quick kiss to her lips, "This?" A slightly longer connection, "Or... this." Now he fully kissed her, tightening his arms around her and kissing her deeply.

Nature nodded at Time, "Yeah! You really won't learn much from us." He said.

Chaos shrugged, "Whatever I can learn would be great. Plus you seem to be close to Fate... not so much Death, but I can learn from that friendship too." Chaos sighed, "Look, I get that I went about this the wrong way. I just want to understand the offices... I thought putting you in 'life or death' situations would do that, but obviously I was wrong." He shook his head, "I wouldn't have let your guys die, though. It was purely for learning purposes."

Fate groaned into the kiss as she pressed close, and she smiled as it ended. "Actually, I was thinking that the word 'please' would be nice," she murmured against his lips, "But you might be onto a good idea with this. Sure you can't ask any nicer than that?" she grinned.

"Puh-lease. Death got beat up to hell and back a couple of times. Excuse me if I don't believe that you wouldn't have let us die. I might have only become Time about a week ago, but that only means that I sure as shit wasn't born yesterday," Time rolled her eyes.

((Sorry! Work was... ugh. And my roomie has been gone since Thursday out of town so it's just me and the zoo. Luckily she comes home tonight.))

Death grinned down at Fate, lowering his mouth for a deeper kiss. He held her closer, hands sliding under the back of her shirt to grab at her flesh. He backed her up to the counter trapping her bewteen his body and the hard surface.

Chaos sighed, "I was only trying to... well... test you. And I knew Death could handle it, that he would survive. And he did, didn't he?" Chaos's brow rose, "Don't you think that, if I anted you dead... I'd figure out a way to do it?"

Nature reached out and took Time's arm in his hand, pulling her a little closer to him in the attempt to put space between her and Chaos. He didn't trust the guy... and he really didn't want Time to piss Chaos off and force something.

Fate offered no resistance at being trapped between Death and the counter as her hands trailed up into his hair and pulled him closer to her as she kissed him deeply.

As Time felt herself being moved, she turned and gave Nature a hard stare. "What are you doing?" she demanded, pulling her arm out of his grip. Death was right about something; Nature was a scardy-cat.

Death groaned and slid his hands higher up her back, dragging the shirt as well. He lifted her up enough that her feet weren't touching the ground, but not high enough for her to sit on the counter. She dangled against him, hims arms the only think keeping her up.

Nature glared at her, "Trying not to get us killed, thank you." He whispered harshly to her before looking at Chaos, "Now, if you'll excuse us, I haven't had anything to eat today and I doubt Time has either." Then he gripped her arm again and dragged her out, heading to the kitchen, "Are you insane? Do you have to try and piss him off every time you see him?"

Out in the hall, Time punched Nature in the arm, glaring at him. "I do not try to piss him off. He pisses me off, and it makes me pissy. I am not insane, and I am not trying to get us killed, so calm down," She said, rolling her eyes. Since they had reached the kitchen, she pushed the door open, unfolding stopped in the doorway and raised an eyebrow at the scene before her. Then she cleared her throat loudly. "If you're deadset on wherever you two are going with this, I'm not going to stop you, but I just thought I would let you know you're going to have visitors."

Nature was about to respond to Time when they entered the kitchen. He froze, eyes widening at the scene before them. Once his brain was actually able to process what he was seeing Nature immediately turned around, trying to wipe the sight of Fate's bare side from his mind before Death could somehow realize. If it hadn't been for Time he'd have just snuck out, pretending he'd never seen a thing, but now he couldn't even do that. Death knew he'd been there.

Death lifted his head with a snarl, putting Fate down, dropping her shirt, and spinning, blocking her behind him so that no one could see. He continued to snarl and growl, glaring at Time and Nature - mainly Nature's back - "Get out!"

Fate all but jumped at the sound of Time's voice, while Death reacted a little more violently, and she soon found herself staring at his back with a red face.

Time snorted at Death's growling. "We're in the kitchen. It isn't as if we walked into your bedroom," she said, and instead of walking out, she continued into the kitchen. "Really, couldn't you two have waited until you were in a private place to do that?" she called over her shoulder as she headed for the refrigerator.

Fate nearly said something along the lines of 'it was just a kiss', if for no other reason than to defend what Time and Nature had walked in on, but then sighed as she realized it wasn't any use with Time around. So instead she took Death's hand and tugged him around to face her. "Come on, you can't get mad because they walked into the kitchen."

Death snarled again, responding to Fate's statement, "Of course I can." He continued to glare at Nature, who hadn't moved or turned around, "They should know to knock or announce when they enter a room... make loud footsteps."

Nature cleared his throat, "We weren't sneaking around... we'd been talking and everything...."

"It's true," Time called over her shoulder, currently rummaging around in the refrigerator. "Actually, we were talking pretty loudly. I would say that I'm surprised you didn't hear us... but you looked pretty cozy when we walked in, so I really can't say I'm surprised."

Fate sighed. "You really aren't helping, Time," she said in exasperation. She moved in front of Death, attempting to block his view of Nature. "See? They did announce that they were coming in the room. You just didn't notice." She glanced back at Nature. "Nature, you don't have to just stand there; you can go get some breakfast or something."

Nature shook his head, "Nope. Not until Death has calmed down. I may have managed to not have him kill me so far... but I don't want that to change."

Death sighed. He didn't want to relent, didn't want to let go of his anger, but even he could see that he was wrong in this moment. He shook his head, then turned and went to the pantry, "Fate, what would you like?"

"I could go for some chocolate chip pancakes," Time piped up. "With some maple syrup and a glass of orange juice. That sounds really nice." She was leaning backwards, looking back at everyone while still holding the refrigerator door open with her hands. "Doesn't that sound good to you guys?"

Fate sighed, shaking her head. She moved over to Nature, pulling him into the room. "Come on, you're fine now," she said. "The danger is past. And Death; I'm fine. I'm not really hungry at the moment. I'll help you make something for yourself though."

Death glanced to Time, "That's nice. Have fun making those." He said, before closing the pantry and pushing Time to the side. He pulled out some fruit, then sat the bowl on the counter, "Alright," He said to Time, "This should be fine then." He glared at Nature, just for fun.

Nature kept his gaze from Deaths and stuck close to Fate, "Chocolate chip pancakes sound good... need help making them?" He asked Time, since he knew Fate wasn't going to.

(I feel sorry for Fate and Nature in turns xD Nature because he keeps getting picked on and then Fate because she keeps trying to keep the peace with everyone)

Time glared at Death as he pushed her to the side, but then perked up visibly as Nature offered to help her make the chocolate chip pancakes. "I'm not going to turn down help, especially if you plan on eating my pancakes." She paused and frowned. "Besides, I just realized that I don't know how to make them."

"You're just going to eat a bowl of fruit?" Fate questioned Death, her head inclining, but then she shrugged. "Okay, if that's what you want." Despite that Nature seemed to have been keeping close to her for some sort of protection, she moved away from him and over to Death, hopping up and sitting on the counter beside his bowl of fruit.

Death frowned at Fate, "Yes. A bowl of fruit. What's so wrong about that? I can eat a bowl of fruit if I want to..." But even he couldn't figure out why he wanted to... he just did. Ignoring everyone else he picked up a strawberry and bit into it.

Nature smiled at Time, "That's okay. I do." He used to cook all the time when he was human, "Basically, make your pancake batter, then add chocolate chips. Pretty easy."

(haha yeah, and then you have Time and Death, who are very alike and don't get along because of it)

"I didn't say you couldn't eat a bowl of fruit," Fate said, putting her hands up as if in surrender. "By all means, go for it. I was just saying that most people don't eat a bowl of fruit for breakfast." As he bit into a strawberry, her nose wrinkled. "No more kisses for you until you wash your mouth out now," she teased.

"Uh huh. You may need to teach me how to make pancake batter too, cause I can't do that either," Time admitted, giving a small shrug. "I honestly can't cook much of anything. It's amazing I don't starve."

Fate leaned away, though because she was sitting on the counter, there wasn't much of anywhere to go for escape. "No thank you. That's the worst tasting thing I've ever put in my mouth."

Time considered the question for a moment. "Which one am I least likely to screw up?" she finally asked. "Because that's the one I want to go with."

Death grinned at her, then lifted a grape, "How about this?" He asked, "Is this better...?" He popped the grape into his mouth, then leaned in closer, "How about a kiss after a grape?"

"The boxed mix." He said quickly, "All you have to do is add water... and cook. Well, We'll add the chocolate chips before we cook it."

Fate laughed and pressed a hand to his chest to keep him away. "Just because you ate a grape doesn't mean the strawberry taste is gone," she smiled. "Sorry, you're just gonna have to find someone else to kiss. Like Nature; I'm sure he would enjoy not worrying about you killing him."

Time gave a nod. "Okay, sounds easy enough," she said and headed over to the pantry to find chocolate chips and boxed pancake mix. Well, she was hoping there was some at least.
