NaNoWriMo 2016

here's my log!

didnt write much today but not gonna let it drag me down. tomorrow is a new day!

So this is my first time doing NaNo and I'm pretty excited! I'm entering my story Unreliable Hearts and here's my NaNo profile page!

Why did I enter this year? I only have 18 days, instead of 30. -dies-

I finally started a story! Whispering Wings

It's an original story taking inspiration (and characters) from the Exodus entry of the Bible and Prince of Egypt (mostly Prince of Egypt).

So how is everyone doing on nanowrimo so far? Not including the outline I'm doing for the nano story, I have about 1400 words. Lol

Yesterday I wrote a whole lot and today it seems like I can't write at all Maybe it's because I went to the library so I got distracted, but I'm hoping I'll shell out some more words tonight since I don't work.

I broke 7,000 words, but I'm starting to get kinda stuck on this part. I should've made an outline.

In the past two days, i've written 200 words. I'm starting to have doubts about doing NaNo.

For those who are struggling to meet their word counts, do ya'll wanna do a 10 minute word sprint or something? I'm feeling quite stuck myself. :)

I've written all but 110 words today. My daily mark was 2800, but I am nowhere NEAR that. Hopefully I'll get a jolt tomorrow, though who am I kidding. Tomorrow the new Sims expension drops which I have been dying to play. This NaNo thing was a mistake xD

I started earlier today but it's not something I plan on posting here so there isn't a story page.

I'm doing Nanowrimo again this year. My Nanowrimo profile is Mibbacat333. My novel has no title yet but is young adult mystery. I've been doing Nanowrmo since 2011. Took last year off as I had just given birth.

I forced myself to sit down and write, no switching tabs or anything, and I reached over 2000 words, so I'm doing fine so far. The temporary block this morning was frightening, but I'm glad I pushed through it.

Finally getting some writing done. Thanks Lady Gaga. And midnight seems to be the best time. Hmm. Hoping to post the first chapter of my NaNo story sometime today.

Finally broke 10k.

I broke 5k this morning but it came from adding the start of chapter 3 to the end of chapter 2 all because I didn't like where chapter 2 just ended! ::margin: So now I don't have to force myself to catch-up to the daily word count, but today is another day where I'm home alone and that makes for the best writing day. In the words of my original main character, Maya from Whispering Wings: "Damn it all to the Afterlife and back." (I feel like I'm going to say that from now on when I get mad lol)

Okay so I think I got everybody but if anything is missing / wrong on the front post, let me know!

So between work and killer stomach cramps, I've not managed to get anything done HA. I've got about 254 words just now, and I'm about to sit and write for a good hour or so. I hope to get at least 3K done tonight so I can try and play catch-up with myself. We'll see though. We'll see.
