Carter's smirk faltered as he felt her touch, something in him flipped like a switch. He hadn't ever pushed for their relationship, as he'd never thought either of them were emotionally stable to pursue further. But looking at their lives he knew that no matter what they'd never be where he imagined, or would be any time soon. And their was no telling where their lives would take them in the next few years let alone the next months. Leaning forwards he placed his lips to her, his hand coming up to cup the back of her head. He couldn't of anything now nothing but her. If he let anything invade his mind now it would only push them apart, that was the last thing he wanted. Gently nibbling on her lip he pulled back softly, looking into her eyes. He knew she was what he wanted more than ever, and right now having both her and his sister under the same roof, safe, that's all he could want. "You're so beautiful." He whispered out before placing his lips gently back to her lips, he just wanted to savoir their time together.

Abby smiled and was surprised when Carter kissed her with such passion. She let out a moan as she sank into him her arms going around him as she kissed him back. Abby didn't know what had caused him to suddenly kiss her like this but she was glad for it. It made her feel alive and finally like they were getting along. Abby was so glad to have him there and to be so focused on one another like this. She gasped as he nibbled her bottom lip sending waves of pleasure to her gut. She had never felt like this before. He whispered to her and she blushed. "Carter..." she spoke his name before his mouth meet hers again and she moaned against his mouth softly shaking against him as the passion traveled through her. Her hands moved to his back as she clung to him her nails scraping lightly against his skin.

A soft groan left Carter's lips as he felt her body press into his. He wasn't sure what this feeling was he was feeling as he'd never felt that way before. But he knew that if they weren't careful they would end up in a situation that would be very awkward for them. It was the last thing he wanted to do. They'd just gotten to a point where they both were comfortable with each other. Breaking the kiss his gripped her hips a soft smile on his lips as he peered up at her. Nibbling gently on his lip he cupped her face, he wanted more than ever to let things move as they may, but he didn't know if they were ready for that next step. Also he wasn't sure how to even ask her if she was willing for trying. Knowing that he didn't have the courage to say anything he place a soft kiss to her lips. "We probably should get some sleep." He mumbled out not really wanting to think about sleeping.

Abby whimpered under her breath as Carter broke the kiss. She looked at him watching the way he tried so hard to do the right thing, whatever that was. He looked nervous and unsure as he placed a pacifying kiss to her lips. She frowned as he mentioned sleep. She was so amped up suddenly she didn't think she could sleep if she tried. "I can't." she said panting softly and rubbed his chest laying her head on his chest with a sigh listening to the beat of his heart and how it had changed. She knew it was too soon but all she could think was how they didn't know how long they had together, any days they could be caught or killed. Abby sat up suddenly and bit her lip getting up and putting on some low music and turned to Carter saying nothing for what seemed like a long time. "Dance with me..." she whispered and bit her bottom lip.

Carter wasn't surprised when she said she couldn't sleep, right now he didn't think sleep would come to him either. But when she laid her head down on he chest he closed his eyes. Doing his best he tried so hard to get some sleep, it was all he could focus on. Or he'd feed the pulsing bulge in his pants, not wanting to deal with the embarrassment that came with that. But when he felt her suddenly sit up his eyes flew wide open, throwing her a rather confused look. He knew that she was feeling it just as much as he was, and if they didn't do something about it soon they would go crazy from it. But he didn't have to balls to bring up the subject. And the last thing he wanted was for her to have to share a room with Harper, he felt it would only push them further back. Though it wouldn't be to bad of an idea as to slow down the way things were going now. His eyes watched as she moved around the room, unsure of what she was doing. But the moment she asked him to dance with her a smile formed on his face. "Seriously?" He asked chuckled lightly, but he moved off the bed anyways. Walking over to her, he gently gripped her waist before pulling her lightly to him. This wasn't the first time they danced together, but this time things were different. They were both sober and feeling rather high right now, but on lust than drugs. Smiling down at her he place a gentle kiss to the top of her head. Swaying both of them rather softly, the music rather calming.

Abby smiled and nodded as he chuckled. She needed to do something and a dance was just what she needed. She wrapped her arms around his neck as he pulled her in. She laid her head on his shoulder. She could feel how he was still affected by earlier. She was affected too but she could feel how they weren't ready. She didn't know when they would be but she trusted it to come around. "Carter... Do you ever worry about how much time we have?" she asked him softly as they swayed to the music. She wished there was an easier way to begin but that was where it all started. The rush and the push, the rush of time and the push back against it because they weren't ready for this. They needed to talk about it and be confident in one another that no matter what they would trust one another. But the truth was that they were still so new to this, still trying to figure each other out. The desire had always been there for them but they wanted to make it work more than just sex. They wanted to be close and that encouraged her in a way. Abby loved to feel Carter against her like this as they moved together. There was something about music that reminded people that they were together.

Carter thought over her question, he knew what had brought this on. But he wasn't entirely sure how to respond. Of course he was worried about them not ever having time to live and love. But he was also the person to live in the here and now and not reflect to much on things out of his control. Unless it dealt with safety issue of course. "There are times I wonder about it." He told her truthfully. "But I'm not worried about anything happening right now." He told her, "with the old man being a seer he can warn us about possible dangers a head. But that doesn't mean we can relax and take a vacation either." He stated. Not sure if this was what she wanted to hear or not. "We've been blessed with time." He told her, knowing that having the old man watching out for them now they could actually relax and enjoy their time together while they still focused on figuring everything out.

Abby hummed listening to him as they swayed. "Time is a blessing." she said softly. She was glad to have time but she really wished that they could figure out a way to embrace each other as well. She wondered why it was so hard to speak about? Sex was natural right? "I want to help prepare for the future however I can but I just need you to help me figure that out a little. "Just a general guidance... I guess I have been taken care of so long it's hard to figure out how to start taking care of yourself." she said and chuckled nervously. She was going to have so much free time on her hands while Carter was out and she wasn't training. Come to think of it she didn't know if Harper would still want to train her after their little fight.

Carter smiled at her, before pulling back lightly. He knew that she was always worrying about thing to come. It was just a part of who she was. "We're here for you." He told her, knowing that no matter what kind of spat her and Harper had they'd patch it up quickly and figure things out together. "I know you feel that Harper is mad at you, but she just flies of at times once she cools off then it's done." He shrugged it off. "But whatever you need help with just ask, we'll explain the best we can. Sometimes it's easier to just show you so don't get discouraged if we do things first." He informed her, this type of lifestyle wasn't something that was hard to get used to. It was a bit boring to tell the truth. But they did have to worry about creating their own fun. Though he could tell that there was something else she wanted to talk to him about, but she was holding back. And he knew that she would telling him what was on her mind, but she just needed time.

Abby smiled as he comforted her. "Thank you Carter. I am really glad you are here for me and don't worry I am not worried about Harper... Okay that's not true I totally am but don't worry we will work it out and it's going to be okay." she said grinning knowing she would try her best for Carter's sake. She knew she was going to get frustrated with this lifestyle until she got use to it but she would try to remember what Carter was telling her now. "I think we can find ways to entertain one another." she said and chuckled kissing his check softly. Abby sighed as the song ended. "Thank you Carter. I really do like dancing with you." she said looking up at him and leaned up on her toes her lips brushing his.

Carter smiled at her knowing she was doing her best to get accustom to this way of living. It wasn't that hard though, being bored was the thing that no one like to do. So finding ways to entertain ones self while keeping home or even a low profile was the difficult thing to do. Some people couldn't get out of their head and would drive themselves mad if they had to do something that was simple movement of the body. Carter knew that Harper had picked up doing things and was better at it than he was, seeing as he was the one that always worked for a living. It was natural for him too. With Abby being a target her safety was the issue for her going out. So she'd have to figure out how to let things go and just relax, which of course easier said than done. Though when they were alone in times like this she seemed to relax and smile more. He couldn't help but chuckle at her worrying about patching things up with Harper, he knew there was nothing to worry about. He couldn't help be just watch her enjoying their time together. He could feel the blood rush to his cheeks when she placed a kiss there and the words she said. He knew that it wasn't what he was thinking but it was very suggestive. "You're welcome." He told her, before freezing as her lips brushed across his. Gripping her hips lightly he looked down at her, before pressing a fiery kiss to her lips. He knew that they were going further than this, and even though they were so new to dating it was normal to get lost in each other at times. But right now he needed a bit of space from her, only to collect himself. "You're driving me crazy." He told her, his words coming out deeper and more of a whisper.

Abby felt how his body reacted as he kissed her more fiercely. She gasped kissing him back her hands moving up and her arms wrapping around his shoulders. She hummed as she leaned into him her legs wobbling as they kissed. She had never felt like this before. Abby ran her hands down his back and wrapped her arms around him as he broke the kiss whispering to her. She felt his words run straight through her body settling in her gut. She hummed and pressed her forehead to his chest. She felt like that was a good thing but then he was the kind of guy ha was use to being in control and she was doing things to him that were new. "I don't think I know how to stop. I really like you Carter but if you need me to step away then just tell me. I will go drink some water and cool down and wait." she said giving him that option. She wanted to be as concours of him as she wanted him to be of her when it came to all this new stuff for both of them. Abby looked up at him her eyes meeting his, fire sparking in her eyes revealing just how much she wanted him wight now but she held her hands to his arms not moving to pressure him. If they were ready or not she couldn't even focus on it because she only had him in her head and the need swimming in her blood. Her eyes asked the question as she tried to be patient and let him think as much as he could at least.

Carter closed his eyes giving her hips a squeeze, "I know what I want." He told her peering down at her. He couldn't really bring himself to say it. "I just don't think you're ready for it." He honestly couldn't say if he was or not. But he knew this wasn't something to be taken lightly. And there'd been a lot that's happened in his life so he knew when something was right or not. Being with Abby was something he wanted more than anything. It didn't have to be sexual either, but he couldn't turn his body off. He knew that having gone through what they have, their feelings were heighten. It was like someone super charged their hearts and they were bound to come down from it eventually. Keeping a level head at times like this only kept them from making mistakes. Things that could possibly ruin their lives or something they'd regret later in life. But he knew that he wouldn't regret anything when it came to being with Abby. He just wanted to make sure she was taken care of, mind, body and soul.

Abby smiled and kissed his head softly. "Then let's take it at a narwal pace but not tonight. I think there is some advance thinking we need to have." she said and smiled softly. "Let me go get some water then we should get some sleep." she said. They would need to get more food for tomorrow and they would need to find Carter a job, not that she really wanted him to be gone so much but they needed to. She stepped back and smiled at him. "Thank you for tonight Carter." she said and then put on her robe and left the room. She went out to the kitchen getting some water and sanding there sitting it. Were they even ready if they couldn't talk about having sex? Abby wanted Carter in all the ways she could have him but she knew what Carter meant she wanted to do it the right way with him because it mattered. Abby sighed feeling like some fresh air might help so she leaned over the counter opening the window and breathing in the fresh night air.

Carter felt a sigh building up, he knew she wasn't ready so he didn't know why he felt the disappointment. It wasn't like he had gotten his hopes up. Nodding his listened to her knowing she was right. He smiled when she offered him space, he knew it might take a lot more than space to get over what he was dealing with but at least they could try. When she exited the room he dropped himself down on the bed and placed his head in his hands. He wasn't sure what he was feeling right now but he knew it sucked. He'd never wanted to feel this again. Laying back on the bed he closed his eyes doing his best to focus on anything else but the ache in between his legs and in his chest. After a while of laying there he finally opened his eyes and got up. There was no point in moping she'd only prolonged their time to wait not said it would never happen. So he'd just have to give it time. No matter how badly his body wanted him to act. "Hey you coming to bed?" He asked her stepping out of the room and peering over at her near the window.

Abby turned towards Carter when he asked if she was coming to bed. She grinned and nodded. "Yeah I am coming." she said and finished her water closing the window and walking back towards him. She smiled as she neared him and bit her lip putting her hands behind her back ignoring the urge to touch him on the way into their room. She slipped into their room and waited until he closed the door before she pulled off her robe and slipped into the bed. She laid on her side towards the center of the bed. She smiled as he got in after turning off the lights. Abby hugged her pillow cuddling it. "Goodnight Carter." she whispered in the dark and closed her eyes sighing as she relaxed into the bed. Abby was glad that they talked. Now they knew that they had to prepare a little for whatever would naturally occur. She was glad Carter understood but then he had been so angry when Ronald had tried to force himself on her she shouldn't even fathom the thought he might do anything remotely close and she didn't. She trusted Carter, completely.

Harper stepped from the bathroom stretching lightly, she felt tight and bound up. She knew she'd feel better after a run. But she still needed to get ready and get Abby up as they'd been running ever day since they decided to start her training. If they wanted to have a normal life then they'd need start preparing their next step. After Carter explained that Abby was really a meta born from a non meta family. Everything started to fall into place, all the men trying to kidnap and kill her. Now she understood why Carter was so set on protecting her, and he couldn't always be around to do it so they both needed to train themselves so they could at least up a decent fight to keep from being killed. Walking into her room she pulled out her running gear. She'd finally taken Abby to the store and taught her how to shoplift. The girl was extremely green behind the ears. But they none the less got some good running gear. And Harper got a few items of clothing she could wear instead of stealing from Abby.

Stepping from her room she headed to the room her brother and Abby shared. Wrapping her knuckle on the door she called out for Abby to get up and get dressed. But was met with the sound of giggles and her brother's low voice. Rolling her eyes she stepped back as the door opened and her brother exited the room. "Oh my god, that's not something I want to see." Harper groaned as her brother walked to the bathroom he'd tried his best to hide his erection. Turning to look at the blushing Abby she noticed her clothing were a bit disheveled. "Um I can let you guys finish." She teased knowing that Abby had mentioned that her and Carter were close to having sex. Though he'd still not asked or brought up the topic. She couldn't help but laugh when Abby threw a pillow at her then told her she'd be ready shortly.

Carter woke up that morning harder than he'd been in, it ached and he wanted nothing more than to relieve himself so that it would go away. But he was stuck, Abby was sound asleep on his arm, her legs tangled with his. And he also didn't want to quite get up just yet either. But he knew that he wasn't going to be getting any sleep any time soon. Shifting he moved to get up, but stopped when Abby's eyes popped open. "Morning." He greeted her, with a bit of a sheepish smile. Feeling her cuddle up to him he couldn't help but rest back into the bed. Looking over at her, a soft smile on his lips as she lifted up and pressed a sleepily kiss to his lips. Biting back an groan he gently cupped her head as he kissed her. Letting his hand move to her side he was a bit surprised when he met skin, though he didn't pull back letting his hand roam her side a bit. Pulling back he couldn't help but smiling down at her. He knew that they'd been toying around with the thought of taking things to the next level but never had they actually made any attempts. He was about to kiss her again when there was a knock on the door and his sister was demanding Abby get up. A groan left his lips as he relaxed down burring his face in her chest. Her giggle met his ears. "Not, funny I feel like my sister has taken over my girlfriend." He told her. Before looking up at her, then placing a kiss to her lips. There was no way he was going to be able to think about talking about sex with her with his sister lurking out side the door. "Alright get up." He told her before getting of the bed and heading to the door.

Abby woke hearing Carter rusting around. She looked up at him sleepily and smiled softly. She snuggled into him looking up at his rumbled hair and grinning face. He always looked like he was about to tell a joke unless it was really serious then he looked serious of course. She leaned up brushing a good morning kiss to his lips feeling his hard against her body. She had gotten use to its presence and was simply waiting for Carter to say something. She knew she wasn't making it easy for him. As he grabbed her face she moaned softly she arched to him pressing in closer to him. He looked at her and she smiled at him waiting to see what he would do. He was coming informed another kiss when the door rapped and Harper called. Carter buried his face in her breasts and she laughed as quietly as she could because it was just such terrible timing. Harper had a knack for interrupting them. They had worked out their problems and Abby believed they where actually getting close. Carter spoke only making her giggle more and toss her head back her hands comfortably running through his hairs and down his bare back. He gave her that kiss then got up telling her to get up to. She chuckled as he left smiling embarrassed at Harper. It was hard sometimes to feel like they were dating when they spent too much time apart with him working and her training and everything but they still tried to make the most of what time they did have together.

Abby looked at Harper as she teased and tossed a pillow at her. "Okay I'll be ready in a moment!" she said a laugh still in her voice. She hoped up and closed the door before stripping off and putting on her own workout cloths. Once she was dressed she traded Carter for the bathroom exchanging a kiss on his way to their room. She freshened up then went to the kitchen grabbing some fruit. She quickly ate it before turning to Harper. "Alright I'm ready." she grinned and laced up her shoes. Abby liked shoes that she could feel the ground with. It made running easier and feeling the vibrations of the earth like Harper's own for falls beside her. Abby pulled her brown hair up into a pony tail. "Have a good day Carter!" she called before her and Harper headed out. After a quick stretch, mostly Harper letting Abby warm up they started on the long run. It was hard for them to really get her up to were she was struggling with physical activities. Her body just seemed to be built to do anything harder, better and faster than others.

After a while Abby was tired of the quiet. "Have you heard anything from Logan?" she asked knowing she really missed him and it would help her to think of him. Despite Carter's dislike of him Logan had really made an impact on Harper and Abby could understand it. She was happy to be that listening ear for Harper. After all if they couldn't talk to each other they wouldn't talk to anyone besides Carter and he was a guy, he didn't get it all like another girl would. Not mentioning the off limit topics.

Harper made her way to the kitchen to grab her an orange, after peeling it she waited for Abby. It was like this most morning they'd sleep in and she sit around and wait for Abby. Not that she minded they did get in all the work in they needed, but it was a bit trouble some to her because it made her feel lonely. She knew that it wasn't something she could change at the moment, and dwelling on it only made her miss Logan more. Hearing that Abby was ready she got up and headed outside.

Moving along the path they'd already started to wear down Harper was content with the silence till Abby broke it. "He called me not to long ago." She told her, a smile pulling at her lips. Before throwing a look at the girl beside her. "He's being watched, but he said he'd help us out when he can. And the way he talked he'd be sending me a package." She told her knowing that even though she'd hoped his deliver it himself there wasn't a guaranty he'd actually be able to do so. "Though he didn't say when or where, I'm still waiting on another call, or a text even." She sighed before stopping, they were about halfway through their run. "Need a drink?" She asked knowing they were pretty close to the house and if she did then they could quickly grab one before continuing, if not they'd have to wait till they got back around again. And Harper knew that about this time Carter would be leaving for work, that'd give the love birds a chance to say good bye to each other.

Abby smiled as they ran and she talked about Logan. "Really?" she had no idea she had talked with him. It was amazing they were able to keep in contact and that he was still willing to help them. She was so glad to hear it. "Well if I can help at all just let me know okay?" she said softly hoping that Harper knew she really wanted to support her and Logan in any way. They swung back around towards the house and Abby blushed. "Yes a little I won't be long." she said though really she knew what she was thirsty for and it wasn't necessarily water. Abby ran towards the house with new purpose and smiled at Harper before dodging inside. She came in seeing Carter finishing up in the kitchen. She got a glass of water and two water bottles.

Abby got a glass of water and finished it a driblet running down her chin before she turned to Carter smiling. "Hey handsome man." she said and moved over to him pressing her hips to his and smoothing down his shirt. "I hope you have an amazing day at work today." she said and pecked his lips with hers. Abby was really glad to get the moment to catch Carter before work and steal a kiss or more. She felt like she needed to be doing more while they had the time for it when he was at work other than running and the other physical training. It seemed too easy and she really needed a challenge. "Is there anything you need Harper and I to do for you while you are out today?" she asked him wrapping her arms around his shoulders.
