Carter stroked her cheek lovingly, "I know that." He smiled seeing that she was happy. "I know what you mean, I wish I could spend more time with you." He told her, he wanted to comfort her and tell her that everything would be over soon. But he could make those promises. Instead he finished his tea. And then turned back to her when she mentioned Alex. "He's doing just fine love." He told her knowing that the man was strong and he'd do his damnest to make sure that he'd see Abby again. He also knew that someday, might be further way. He chuckled lightly hearing her question, before moving to her. Placing his cup down he moved his hands to her hips, letting his hands slid down to her ass, he quickly lifted her. "Bed time." He told her softly, carrying her back to their shared room. He turned off the lights as he went, including their room light. Leaving them in total darkness. He knew where the bed was and that they kept the room tidy so he didn't have to worry about tripping or falling. Though he did fall, once his legs touched the mattress he fell forward, catching himself on his arms. But he hovered over her, "I love you." He told her, before placing a kiss to her lips. Pulling back he rolled off her, before pulling her back into his chest. "Goodnight love." He whispered into her ear.

Abby giggled as Carter picked her up. She wrapped herself around him resting her head on his chest. She breathed him in loving the left overs of the salty air on his skin. She grinned as he took her over to the bed in the dark and fell in. She inhaled sharply at how close he was over her. "I love you too." She bit her lip sighing as he rolled over. She pulled off her shoes and chuckled as Carter pulled her to him. She snuggled up to him. "Goodnight." she said softly back to him finding it funny that they weren't even going to bather getting undressed. She figured it was a safe way for tonight at least. She closed her eyes and let herself relax into Carter. She adored him and how he was. She held to his shirt lightly as she breathed him in.

The next morning Harper was awake well before anyone else. She decided to get a head start on Abby, she knew she'd more than likely want to sleep in after the event of last night. Dressing for her work out she headed to the living room. Laying out a mat she started to do some stretching, which soon turn into yoga. It was nice being able to change up things once in a while. But the two girls were competitive and ever morning they had to try and out run the other. She heard movement in the house, wondering just who had decided to wake up. Usually there was more noise if both of them woke up. But this time Harper barely picked it up, turning to see Abby walk through the kitchen she noticed her dress was still on and her brow shot up. Last night must have been eventful if she slept in her clothing. "Morning." She called after her, knowing she'd more than likely startled the woman.
