Harper sighed out in relief, if he had wanted to Logan could have easily done something to her. Instead he treated her privacy with respect, something she was starting to see now. Used to she just thought it was because he was trying to bribe her, make her want to like him. Now she seen he was trying but what had changed, why had his thoughts and attention changed. Used to he'd show up at her job and bring her flowers, he'd gotten her in trouble more times then she could count. But it all changed when he found out she was a Meta. Was he disgusted by her now. Or was he just showing her a different side of him. What confused her was why now, had he have shown her the side of him that actually cared she'd have been more willing to date him instead of refuse him. Though she did refuse him solely because she was a Meta. Now her secret was out, what that what had changed. Because honestly she was his property and he could do as he see fit, even if that means bedding her, with or with out her consent. Pondering over her thoughts she pulled out some clothes slipping them on, before sitting before the food he'd brought her. Her stomach growled in discomfort, though she wasn't hungry. As she couldn't shut off her mind.
Carter looked down at the box in his hands, he knew if it was medication it wouldn't work well on him. His system no matter how similar to humans was still different. It was like Meta's burned off the drugs faster, he wasn't sure if it was true or not. But he'd remembered giving Harper some drugs for a fever when she was younger and it didn't do anything like she'd never even taken a dosage. "Night," he murmured out looking up at her. Before heading towards the door. "Thanks." He said before exiting her room and heading for his. He was exhausted from the week long torture, plus the lack of food. Laying out across his bed he closed his eyes, falling into a dreamless slumber. Having forgotten all about the box Abby had given him.
