Jamie looked over when he heard Alice say she was going to go get Poppy’s Mom. He got up and went over, “Alice, your sister is fine. She just woke up with a bit of a headache and now she feels better, right Pops?”

Poppyshot her younger sister a thumbs up from the toilet bowl "I feel super, just ate too much popcorn last night" she lied to Alice, hoping she would leave before Poppy got sick again.

Eventually once she felt better, poppy stood up and flushed the toilet, walking out to meet Jamie and go get his clothes. "Close call"

“I told you I got you, Pops.” Jamie smiled and then headed downstairs with her. “I’ll be in the car, come out when you’re ready.” He said, since her mom stopped her before she could make it out.

Poppy stopped as her mom called her back in to the kitchen. She threw a nervous glance back at Jamie and headed to the kitchen to see what her mum wanted.

Jamie decided to have a cigarette while he waited for Poppy to come out. He was halfway done when he saw her and quickly put it out. “Everything okay?” He asked her.

"Yeah, she just wanted to give me another warning about my grades slipping" She told him with a shrug. Usually that would be a big deal to her, but it was the last thing on her mind this morning.

She sat in to the passenger side and opened the window, just in case of any more mishaps.

“Tell me if you need me to pull over.” Jamie said as he backed out of her driveway and headed for his own house. Luckily he didn’t live that far from her.

Poppy was thankful that she didn't throw up on the way to Jamie's. She let him go inside and get ready, she stayed n the car to wait for him. She hummed along to the radio, reversing in her own head what she was going to say to Evan... for some reason her gut instinct seemed to think it would go well.

Jamie ran inside and quickly showered before throwing on some clothes and shoes. He ran back downstairs and outside to the car. “Okay back. You ready?”

Poppy nodded her head at him reluctantly "as ready as I can be" she told him, her voice a little shaky, as she placed her two hands on her stomach.

“It’ll be okay.” Jamie said and squeezed her hand before heading to school. “Do you want me to hang back just in case?” He asked.

"No that's okay, I better get to class, if I miss any more the school will call my parents" she told him with a shrug of her shoulders. "I'm meeting Evan by the bleachers at 1? so maybe just hang around there and I'll meet you once i talk to him?" she asked him, wringing her hands infront of her and chewing on her bottom lip.

Jamie nodded. “Sounds good.” He said and watched her walk off. He sighed before heading inside to go to his own class.

Poppy powered her way through classes, unable to concentrate on anything. Her mind was simply focused on Evan and what she planned to say to him. Once 1 o clock rolled around she headed out towards the bleachers to wait for him.

Once 1 o’clock came, Jamie headed outside to the bleachers he waited close enough so he could hear Evan if he decided to get stupid.

Poppy sat, nervously crossing and uncrossing her legs. It was only one minute past and she was getting a sinking feeling that he might not show up. Thankfully though, a few seconds later she spotted his signature strut crossing the campus towards the bleachers. Her heart was racing as she repeated what she wanted to say in her head, suddenly he was right infront of her.

"I knew you couldn't stay away for too long" he teased, flashing her that boyish grin she had originally fallen for, and she found it happening all over again. "Well how could I..." she trailed off, had she really just been about to flirt with him? "Ah no.. Evan that's not really what I wanted to talk to you about.. I uh.." she took a seat on the bench and motioned for him to join her nervously chewing on her lip as she tried to force the words out, her legs beginning to shake.

"Evan, I'm pregnant and it's yours" she blurted out, seeing the shock register on his face. They stared at one another in silence for a while, she was allowing him time to let it sink in. "Im sorry to drop this on you Ev_.." he cut her off before she could even finish her sentence, grabbing on to her wrist tight.

"Well you're going to abort, right?"

Jamie was close enough to see and hear them. When he heard Evan ask if she was going to get an abortion, his blood began to boil. He wanted to go out there but he had to wait.

Poppy began to get a little flustered as she shook her head "n-no I'm not Evan... I want to have this baby and show it love and affection and I really want you to be part of it...our lives" she told him, using all of the power she had to keep herself from getting upset. She needed to stay strong. There was still a glimmer of hope inside her that he would decide to at least be part of his child's life, even if he wasn't in hers.

Evan began to laugh and stood up off the bench "Poppy, I don't even want to date you, let alone raise a child with you. I don't want a baby taking over my life. If it is mine get rid of it, I don't want it or you. This is a pathetic way to try and get me to be with you Poppy, I knew you were desperate but not this much so... Besides, How can I even be sure it's mine, It's not like it was hard to get you to spread your legs"' he threw Poppy a dismissive look and took a step backwards as he began to walk away "You're a whore Poppy, and now everyone will know"

Poppy's nails dug in to her palms so hard that little beads of blood were beginning to pool underneath her fingertips. "You dickhead!" she screamed, launching herself off of the bench and towards Evans, her hands flailing at him, hitting his chest over and over again as he tried to push her off, her nails scratching at his face as her tears began to fall.

When Evan called Poppy a whore, that’s when Jamie lost it. He got up and went to his best friend’s side. He pulled her back, holding onto her. “I suggest you get the fuck out of here Evan before I kick your ass.” He told him.

He knew Evan wasn’t going to take his part in this, but he wasn’t going to berate Poppy for trying.

Poppy fought against Jamie's grip for a minute before allowing herself to collapse in to his arms sobbing. "You're a fucking psycho Sinclaire" Evan commented, shaking his head before rushing away.

"I'm not a whore J, I'm not" she whispered, allowing herself to cry in to his chest.
