Evelynn looked up at Winston and licked over her bottom lip as she felt his hand in her hair. She ran her hands up his chest leaning in her eyes closing as they got closer and she leaned up on her tip toes kissing him softly her lips brushing his. Evelynn wrapped her arms around his neck as she let the moment sweep her away but still letting him guide the kiss. There was something about him. Her body was on edge like standing on stilts and her mind was foggy like she had been drinking much more that it usually affected her.

There was this click or maybe it was more like a sigh inside of her when their lips met as if something inside her was saying 'Finally it's you, you're here.' She didn't know what it was and as much as it scared her it thrilled and excited her. She really hoped that it wasn't just her feeling this connection like she had never felt before.
Alec smiled as she looked at them with speculation. "Now now it's a gift." he said and chuckled. She was so on edge about something. He ran a hand through his hair and sat in the chair in his room. "It's no problem." he smiled. "I was already at the store anyways." he said and watched her go through the bags. She calculated how much she needed them and then she got to the cloths and he saw the pleased look filled with joy and he smiled. That had been worth it. "You're very beautiful when you smile Madeline." he said and chuckled. "Do many people call you Maddy?" he asked her curiously.

Alec couldn't help but he glad he had successfully guessed her normal energy pattern. She was probably going crazy in that bed right now. He wondered then if she was a busy body by choice or just because there was a kind of panic inside her she didn't know how to get out. So many questions and he knew he would get so little answers in the short time it would take her to get back on her feet.

Once their lips connected, Winston could feel a tug on his soul. Something that told him that he was right, that there was more to Evelynn that he needed to discover. That she was possibly a mystery for him to unsolve or a piece of a puzzle or maybe that was quite not it but he knew that he needed her in his life for a while. The why part was questionable but Winston was sure to figure it out.

Slowly, he pulled away from her lips though it was almost painstaking to do. His fingers ran down the rest of her hair before moving down her back and gently pressing against the small of it. Winston looked down into Evelynn's eyes with a wide smile. No matter what, this was going to be interesting... but it meant that he needed to do things the right way, unfortunately... well at least tonight until he pulled some things together.

"Wow." He whispered with a huge grin on his face. "Maybe we should go get another drink?"
Madeline looked up from the clothes as Alec started to speak. A very light blush moved over her face at his words and she looked back down at the items he bought for her. Why was he like this? So sweet, so thoughtful. Maybe Alec was just genuinely a good person? Her fingers ran over the fabric of one of the sweatshirts he got her before her eyes lifted back up and met his. No, it was unlikely. Everyone wanted something and it would only be a matter of time before he showed her his desire. Madeline would be sure to repay him before she left.

"No, they don't. Everyone calls me Madeline." She told him honestly as she put the clothes away. Once Alec left, she would be able to change. "Though you can call me Maddy, if you want." Madeline found the name rather interesting though a bit odd. It was so informal and also like a cute little nickname for a child. "So...Is this something you do often? Find injured people and bring them home?"

Evelynn felt like her head was spinning as Winston pulled away. She felt completely like her world was off balance so she held onto him a while longer until he spoke. She looked up at him seeing the most amazing smile. Evelynn grinned back at him with he same amount of pleasure. She giggled and nodded as he said wow. He wasn't wrong it was something amazing to kiss him for sure and if that was all that happened to night she still would feel like he rocked her world. When he suggested a drink she nodded slowly pulling back until she was sure she could stand and walk on her own. "I think that is a great idea." she said knowing the liquid would be a welcome distraction from the hunger wanting to have more of Winston.

Evelynn walked with him inside the house and to the kitchen. She went with him over to the cooler grabbing a drink with him. She decided to opt for water at this point thinking that her head was spinning enough as it was. Evelynn leaned against the counter smiling up at Winston. She was really glad they had bumped into each other.
Alec smiled. "Well I think if we ever become better acquainted I might want to call you Maddy if it doesn't bother you." He smiled and nodded softly. "I wouldn't want to start giving you nicknames when I only just learned your name." he said and sat back as she asked a question. Probably the first real personal questions and he was surprised she had asked. Alec chuckled and shook his head. "No I don't do it often. Honestly I'm not usually in a situation where I find many needy people. But even if I was I don't think I would bring them all home. I have some sense about the dangers out there. I like to think I have good instincts about people but then again people can surprise even the best of us." he said and smiled at her.

He could tell she was expecting a personal question in return but he could also see she was on edge about it as well. So instead he just stayed quiet for a while before standing. "I have some work to do." he said though really he couldn't do much other than check on what others were doing at work but he would to give her some time to use her new items. She looked rather ear to change still holding onto the cloths. He chuckled. "It was nice talking with you." he grinned and walked to the door.

As Evelynn moved against the counter, Winston moved in front of her, leaving very little space between them. His hand moved onto her waist, laying there gently as he looked down at her with curious eyes. Ah, so what was he going to do with her now? Winston had quickly decided that he wanted to see her again, which removed the opportunity to head to someone's place. He could get her number to ask her out on a date but leaving wasn't exactly on the top of his list of 'things Winston wants to do'.

Though a smooth smile moved over his face as another idea came to his head. It wasn't exactly a bad one, but he was sure that it would surprise Evelynn. Hopefully, she would find it endearing instead of somewhat creepy? In the chance that would not be the case, Winston leaned down and pressed his lips against hers, giving Evelynn another kiss before pulling away. "Not that this party is not a lot of fun...but I am interested in you more than it. What do you say we leave and get a midnight snack somewhere?"
"I wouldn't mind a nickname..." Madeline whispered before she looked up at him. She had never really had a true nickname before. Everyone was so formal with her because of her position. It would be interesting though albeit a little odd for her.

Her head tilted to the side as she started to watch Alec leave. What he had said was almost laughable to her. Alec didn't think she was dangerous? Madeline could see his logic due to how he found her but once she was back to full strength, she was rather sure in her abilities to absolutely destroy him. Not that Madeline would want to harm someone that was being so kind to her, but still the ability to was there. "So you don't think I am dangerous?" Madeline asked before he could leave. "Why is that?"

Evelynn smiled at Winston as he stepped in front of her. She looked up at him searching his gold eyes that still made her believe she was dreaming he was here. She watched him as he thought seeing his mind turning over thoughts as he stood so close. Winston was so sexy. As she sipped her water she leaned against the counter feeling every part of him that was connected to her. Evelynn smiled against his lips kissing him back. She bit her lip satisfied with how she felt after his kiss. She looked back up at him as he spoke her eyes glancing over his lips a moment before meetings those eyes again. He suggested food and she grinned. "I would love to." she said seeing her answer pleased him. "Do you have some place in mind?" She only had one little spot she was almost always at if she went out. It made it easy for friends to stop by and see her as she working on school work most the time.
Alec smiled. "Well then Maddy it is." he smiled glad to have gave her something special while she was here. He was about to leave when she stopped him with her question. He chuckled. "I never said that you weren't dangerous Maddy. I just said that I have a sense about things, people and such." he winked at her. She seemed like she needed company and yet privacy at the same time. "Later once you are more comfortable I can take you out to the moonroof to get some fresh air if you like." he said knowing that really it was a place they could sit and talk or just sit and enjoy the night whatever it was she was feeling up to. "Do you need anything else?" he asked her.

"I do not." Winston said, "Though I am sure we can find somewhere still open at this hour." He wasn't concerned. There were a few restaurants open by vampires that were open all night. Though, Winston was not sure how much he wanted his people to see him with Evelynn. Nothing was happening, yet but things always seemed to get out of hand. It would probably be best if he got those ideas out of his mind for now. He needed to just take things one step at a time right now.

Winston lead Evelynn out of the house once she had collected everything that she had brought with her. As this was a house party, and close to his apartment, he had not taken a car there. Though, Winston knew they were only a block or two away from the main food area. Smiling down at her, Winston lead her towards that area. "Is there anywhere in particular that you would like to go?"
Madeline looked back down at the bags before shaking her head. "No, that was it. Thank you." She did rather like the idea of going out to the moonroof, but did not want to hold him to that expectation, in case Alec found himself too busy or something. Once he headed out of the room, Madeline took the time to go through the bags he had brought. A little smile on her face as she saw the items. It was nice to have what he had bought her. Though, Madeline was rather excited about having the new clothes. She managed to get his old ones off of her before pulling on the new ones. She hummed happily before laying back down and letting her mind wander. Alec was a very strange man...

Evelynn smiled. "I have a little coffee place in mind they had great snacks." she smiled up at him her eyes shinning. The air was brisk tonight and she was looking forward to the walk that would help warm her. "It's called Roasted Black Bean. Ever heard of it?" she asked him. She started to walk with him down the street towards all the food courts a little walk away. "To be honest I am always at this little place. It has the best little hidden places and sunny places and it's a good place to think." she chuckled blushing lightly. At one point some of the employees tried to get her to work there but she hadn't been interested.

The moon was bright enough to lead them between the street laps. Evelynn would look up at his now and again marveling at the moon. She had always found the changing of the moon fascinating. She couldn't say what her fascination was about in the least. Evelynn looked over at Winston thinking that the same kind of fascination was there for him as well. She couldn't pinpoint what it was though he defiantly had so much left for her discover and that mystery drove her in closer.
Alec went out and tried to do something that resembled work but until they got more donors there was nothing he could do. He did some cart work recording the intact versus the collection of blood. It was slim to say the lease and he hoped that he could find a way to increase donations otherwise there would be some very hungry vampires delighting in the rare delight that was a human straight from the source. He sent out a few emails with ideas and hoped some of his other colleges would have some ideas but he was the best at what he did and it was hard to get ideas from a crowd that was not at his level. Alec stood closing his computer setting it to charge before walking back to his room knocking. "Hey Maddy feeling a need for some fresh air yet?" he called.

A smile moved over Winston's face as Evelynn mentioned a place. That would be perfect. No vampire would run a coffee shop and certainly not one that had a lot of sunny spots. It would require them to be up in the morning as the sun rose, which was certainly something to be avoid. Now he could spend time with her without any of his subjects, family or, hopefully, the paparazzi. "I have never heard of it but it sounds amazing. So, please, lead the way."

As they walked, Winston took a moment to take in their surroundings. Being out at night was certainly not a concern to him. Really, anywhere that he went, Winston would be the most dangerous person there. There were really only few things that worried him. But he still wanted to know what was going on around him. Especially since he was looking out for a human currently. "So, tell me Evelynn, what do you do with your time besides coffee shops and school?"
Madeline glanced over at the door as she heard Alec call out from the other side of it. A large smile moved over her lips. "Yes, I would like that." She called back out to him as she pulled herself up in the bed so she was sitting up once again. A groan left her lips, but at this point, Madeline was feeling rather stubborn and a great need to get out of the bed that had been kindly offered to her. Pushing the blankets away, she moved her legs over the side and slowly slid herself out of the bed and grabbing onto the table next to her.

With help, Madeline knew that she would be able to walk around a little bit. "Alec? Can you please come help me?" She called out as she slowly moved along the room using different furniture and the wall.

Evelynn grinned as Winston seemed so excited to see the little coffee shop she loves. Evelynn nodded and started the walk towards the little coffee shop, well it wasn't really little but none the less. She walked with him looking up at him now and then. He watched the night and it made her feel calm and relaxed to be around him knowing he was keeping an eye out, he was looking out for her and it made her glad. Winston asked about her hobbies and she chuckled. "Okay don't laugh. I dress up as Alice in Wonderland and visit hospitals and schools to bring cheer and a love of literature." she shook her head. "Ever little girl now a days loves Frozen but I always loved the twisted world of Alice in Wonderland. It was what gave me my love of literature. I can't write a book but I sure can give it life for others." she smiled at Winston.

Evelynn did a lot of things but that was probably her favorite. She had a couple friends who dressed as the rabbit and the mad hatter and they went in having tea time and unbirthdays. It was always fun and they left the kids in a fit of giggles. She was usually so busy with school, the homework, the projects. It was why she spent so much time at the coffee shop but she made time for the kids and Alice. "I also do a lot with the sorority, bake sales and carwashes. The usual I guess." She shrugged not really into her sisterhood. "When I am not doing all that I am working on building my resume by using my communications schooling for all kinds of different people, writing speeches and designing signs. It's boring because I think that politics really aren't my thing." she chuckled. "I bet you have an entirely different view of it." she said opening that up for him to answer back to her. Eventually she would ask his question back to him. She was curious how his degree in Political Science swayed his view of things.
Alec came into the room as she asked. He knew that was a lot for her to ask. She really shouldn't have stood up anyways. He had been opening up the other door to the outside before he was coming back to get her. Alec walked in and smiled. "Are you determined to walk?" he asked curtain he knew the answer as he came up beside her and slipped his arms around her waist putting her arm around his shoulder. He was impressed with how far she had made it anyways without help. It must have hurt to get up and walk but she was strong and persistent.

They went through the living room and then out to what use to be called a sun room but he used it as a moon room. He had opened up the windows the moon shinning into the room the stars twinkling. Alec rest Madeline down in a seat helping her to get situated before sitting in a chair beside her. She had been just a little excited to get out here and it made him smile. It was cute really. "So Maddy..." he wasn't sure how to continue without asking her so many personal questions. He was trying to find a safe topic and didn't know it there was one with her. "Ever been on this side of town before?" he asked thinking that at least was kind of safe even if it was lame.

A bit of a sly smile moved over Winston's face as he listened to Evelynn. He liked the idea of her dressing up as Alice from Wonderland. It seemed...cute to him. Enough so that trying to sneak his way into the hospital to see it seemed like a rather good idea. "I would be an asshole to laugh at that." He assured her. "Though, admittedly, I would like to see what your costume looks like. Is it very Victorian or Disney?" Winston couldn't help but wonder how accurate it was. He had items in his own closet at home that were from that time period.

"Though that does sound very good of you, to do it. To help those kids." Winston walked up to the door of the coffee shop, opening it up for her and following Evelyn inside. He followed Evelynn through the cafe to wherever she wanted to sit.

A chuckle came out and Winston shook his head. "Politics is not boring." Moving to the table, Winston pulled out her seat for her before sitting down himself. "Maybe it seems like that from the outside looking in, but it really is not. Politics is a constant battle, with each other, with the people, even with your own thoughts and values. It feels like everything can be this large daunting task and that you have to fight for every inch that you get. Very little of it is writing laws, which admittedly is painstaking, but dealing with very headstrong people." A smirk came over his face. "Though, you know what, it is probably one of the most important things in this world. Politics affects every single aspect of your life. And it's up to m- them - to get it right."
As Alec assisted her down in the seat, Madeline closed her eyes and took a few moments to calm back down. She really shouldn't have tried to walk. The pain she was in was immense and it felt her body had quickly turned against her. Though once she was completely relaxed against the chair, it all started to ebb away and her head cleared up enough to listen to Alec again. Her eyes opened back up and Madeline looked out of the windows, looking at the beautiful sky that was hanging above them. And the night air was so crisp that all she could do was smile.

Her eyes shifted over to Alec for a moment as he started to speak before she turned her attention back to the sky. She knew what he was trying to do and Madeline knew that she needed to give Alec what he wanted. After all, while unspoken, it was a simple request and one that Madeline knew to respect with all of the efforts that Alec was giving her.

"I had never been to the town before... I actually have never been in a um human run town before." Madeline told him honestly. She was sure there was no harm in saying so. And Madeline didn't think that was odd, or was it? "At least not alone. So I do not know this place or the area around here that well. Are you from here?"

Evelynn chuckled. "Well it's Disney mostly because that is what kids like but a part of me cringes because it is so off." she chuckled and followed him into the cafe. "Oh it's really nothing. We have fun at it and it is a relief to be someone else for a little but I will admit some of the kids do break my heart." she lead the way to the counter and they ordered some snacks. They waited for them by the pick up counter chatting. Evelynn was having fun talking with Winston. He was interesting and he truly seemed interested.

As they picked up their food Winston went into politics and just as she had imagined he had a strong opinion. She chuckled smiling up at him as they moved further into the cafe until they were in the quiet and almost romantic spots where the lighting was dim and there were little cozy corners. She picked a table under the glass ceiling so the moon and stars were above them. Evelynn sat in the comfy funky looking chair Winston pulled out for her as he talked. She loved to see the passion he held for politics. She pulled crossed her legs and sipped her hot coco before bitting into a pretzel bite.

Evelynn smiled as he came to the end and she chuckled. "Well I think with how much passion you have for you you would make a great leader. But I think I need to hear more of your platform before I go voting for you." she chuckled. "I think a democracy is so very different that a monarchy so really it matters when talking about the kind of boring. Maybe I find people much more interesting. The psychology that goes into writing a speech fascinates me so much more perhaps that might be why I think a monarchy appears more interesting. The society that chooses to let biology determine a ruler fascinates me more than how rules in a democracy are chosen." she shrugged and sipped her coco. She felt like a fish out of water talking politics.
Alec nodded when she said she had never been to a human run town. It was common for a lot of their kind. They felt with humans now and again but they never had to follow their rules and lives and be so careful in their own towns. "It is different living here but the humans can be fascinating and at times kind." he said. He had sympathy for them. Perhaps it was because of how long he had lived here and worked with them. "No I was not born here. I was born in a vampire town and grew up there until about middle school, nearly high school. It was hard to adjust by my mother thought it best for us." he shrugged. "College was much easier and now I live here. Makes my job easier. I work just on the other side of the park so it's a quick walk or jog. People look at you less funny when you jog in the dark than walk." he chuckled knowing she knew that.

"To be honest my mother moved here because of my father. They went through a really nasty divorce. He wasn't the kind of guy she wanted me to grow up to be." he sat back smiling. She hadn't always been the strong woman I grew up trying to model myself after. But now she is strong and I value that strength. I added some compassion in there. A few mentors through my life that helped me figure it all out. It's hard not to fall into the same paths as your parents but I think I made something of myself that is completely me." He admitted and rubbed the back of his neck not sure why he had told her all that.

"Would you like some more blood that walk took a lot out for you." he said looking at her before back at the night. There was something about Maddy that pulled inside of him and he didn't understand it but he was working on getting her to open up and relax. She was probably one of those people that didn't know how to relax but that was just fine he could help with some of that if she was up for it.

A bit of a smirk came over Winston's face as Evelynn spoke about a monarchy. A woman after his own heart and she didn't even know it. Though, if she did know it, Winston was sure that this would be a very different conversation. "Oh? Would you rather live under a monarchy then?" He asked as he tilted his head a bit before continuing. "Each has its pros and cons. Though, if this was a monarchy, I wouldn't really need a platform would I? My opinion and actions would change, and sure I would need to explain why but monarchs don't tend to campaign or fight for one cause in particular." He chuckled a bit.

Winston glanced down at the scone and coffee that he had gotten for himself. Vampires didn't need to eat human food, but from time to time it was nice. Human food tended to taste pretty different from the blood that they drank. He took a bit of the scone and gave a small nod before taking another bite. Yes, this was quite good. "Though, we do not need to talk about politics if you are not interested in it, Evelynn." He assured her with a smile. "I assure you that I have other interests besides that." Winston teased her lightly, but he was trying to give her an out. After all, Evelyn had said she didn't find it very interesting and Winston's life was filled with politics so he was happy to take a break from it.

"Though, if politics is not your cup of tea, then what are you hoping to write about?" He asked her curiously. "Or why not help a news room or a magazine?"
Madeline turned her head from the night and watched Alec with gentle eyes as he spoke. She had not been expecting to hear so much about his life, and for him to be so open about it as well. Maybe that was just the type of person Alec was but that was definitely not something that Madeline had in her, to be so honest with someone she barely knew...or even someone she knew for ages. Though their lives were very different... She spoke softly, and honestly. "I am sure that your mother is very proud of who you have become and she has every right to be."

She took a moment and glanced around the moon room, taking it all in. Was this how a lot of the commoners lived? Was he a good representation of them or was Alec just uniquely warm, open and kind? It was nice, yes, but how was he not getting taken advantage of often? How was he not just getting stepped all over? Madeline didn't really have a desire to but surely he had meant someone who had... Though that being said, Madeline did hear something that was of interest to her. "Did you go to college in this town then?"

"And yes, it did." Madeline said softly. "I would like some, thank you." Perhaps she shouldn't have tried to force herself up onto her feet but Madeline needed to get back to work soon. She had things that needed to get done and crowns to take.

Evelynn smiled and hummed. "You know I have never thought of it." She grinned as he went on. "You make several good points." She chuckled. He was then giving her and out before letting her touch on anything he had said. She bit her lip grinning like a fool. "No please. I do not mind. You are so passionate... is it completely cheesy to say you make it interesting?" she asked and chuckled. "well you will have to tell me some of theses passions as well. I wouldn't mind a change of subject either but trust me you will know if I am completely uninterested in talking about what we are talking about and I assure that has not been the case." She reached over and placed her hand on his. "And you can call me Evie, unless there is a reason you are wanting to call me Evelynn." she said her hand lingering on his before she took her hand back to her cup taking a sip.

"Aww well you see you have my lack lack of interest taken wrong. I am uninterested in politics, that does not mean I am not good at it." she raised her eyebrow smirking. "I like writing speeches for politics because I like to win, it's a terrible habit. I am very good writing words to a page to convince the masses of a lot of things and each speech comes with it's own work and research which is fascinating, the subject does not matter and I don't care what it is about as long as my speaker does their job well and delivers it was the voice I have written for them. See? I am sorry to have confused you. It is government as a whole that bores me, the rules and voting, with brings me back to why Monarchy is more interesting, it is about such very different set of rules. I am sure there is more under the surface but nothing I would have to really dive into in order to help create a stable and working society." She said. "The truth that is written in news papers and on the news are even more boring that politics. They have no finesse, nothing that can be said with any kind of poetry, remember I am also minoring in Literature." she smiled.
Alec smiled as he said his mother had a right to be proud. He shrugged. "I like to think so." he chuckled. He could tell her mind was spinning. She probably saw him as an easy target though he didn't feel any malicious intent from her so he wasn't worried. He nodded at her question. "Yes I went to college near here. I am a biology major, human biology of course. It was fascinating." he admitted and nodded as she said she would like some blood. He stood and wet to get some warming it and brining it back to her placing it in his hands.

Alec sat beside her again as she took her first sip. "Am I right to assume that you know your body very well? For example when it needs rest and is still injured?" he asked. He nodded knowing it had been when she answered. "Then might I be so invasive to ask what it is you are in such a rush to do? But more importantly do you think you could do it as efficiently as you could if you were completely healed before trying to get back to it?" he asked her not taking his eyes off the stars. He didn't want to make her uncomfortable but he didn't want all his efforts for her to heal to go in vain.

Alec sat back his long body stretched out as he propped his legs up on the railing. "Not that I don't believe you could do it, just thinking your suborn determination to get better soon could cause you more harm later." he shrugged like it didn't matter but it had been on his mind and there was some concern there but he wouldn't force it on her.

"I suppose you could say that I am rather formal." Winston said softly as he turned his hand over and gently ran his fingers along her palm. "Though I do rather like the name Evie. It's cute." His eyes lifted up and a small smile came over his face as he looked into her eyes. Normally, he called people by their formal full name. So to have someone who specifically asked to have a nickname...well that was a first and one that he rather liked. His hand reached up and gently laced his fingers in with hers. "Evie it is then."

Winston let out a long hum after Evie had finished speaking. She had a lot to say, but he loved that. He wanted to hear what her thoughts and opinions were, they were interesting to him. "Have you considered the impact that your speeches make on things as a whole? I mean you are helping these politicians get elected or get rejected. Have you considered whether or not you should help them or are you just interested in speechmaking and 'convincing the masses'."

Winston gave a little shrug before taking a sip of his coffee. "Even if you are not interested in the working of the government, you are having an impact on it."
Madeline let out a small sigh as Alec made his points about her healing. He was right, and there was no denying that. However, gaining the crown was dirty business, and something she wanted to take care of as swiftly as possible. She didn't want to have this issue hanging over her for longer than it needed. Though, she did have some time before the prince would leave the area, but she did run the risk of him finding out she was there.

The young woman rubbed her face a bit before sinking her head into her sweatshirt. On the other hand, Madeline would be better off waiting until she was fully healed - for a lot of reasons. She needed to be fully healed and on top of her game. Looking over to Alec, Madeline gave him a small nod. She was not going to say what she was in a rush to do, but Madeline did think that Alec had a point. She brought the cup of blood down to her lap. "Unfortunately, you have a point." She murmured. "I would be better off just waiting until I was fully healed... I am just anxious to do what I need to do but I will slow down."

What was it about Alec that tugged on her to listen? Soon she would need to shake that feeling off. "I do need to try and contact my family soon though."

Evelynn smiled. "You don't need to be formal with me." she grinned. His hand on hers was causing some fluttering in her belly. He said he liked her nickname and she bit her lip blushing. He reached over lacing his hand with hers and she smiled holding his hand back on the table. He brought up the implication her speeches made and she chuckled. "Of course I do. If I do not agree with them or their platform I don't help them. I don't just write for anyone I know how powerful words are. I have to like the person I am writing for. It makes my job hard but worth it. I think there is a difference in my personal life and my working life with politics. It's a complicated relationship." she said and bit her lip. Perhaps one day I will be able to fully explain that to you but it seems quite too much for now."

Evelynn sipped her drink. "So tell me about these other passions you claim to have." she said smiling at her light teasing. She did enjoy talking to Winston but she didn't want to bore him with the details about how she choose to write speeches for particular figures and yet refused to vote because she felt it was to much responsibility for the amount of effort she was wanting to put into it. She looked down at their hands. How could such a simple touch make her feel so electric?
Alec nodded. "Whatever is best for you." he said and smiled at her. She spoke of her family and he nodded. "Of course just tell me what you need. The phone is in the kitchen or you can use my computer." He offered thinking those to be the most common ways to contact these days but sometimes their kind still used slow mail. Alec grinned as he looked out at the night. He would help her in anyway he could. She seemed to need the support. He wasn't convinced that she had a lot of that in her life. Not with the way she seemed to have such a hard time accepting help. She was suspicious of every little thing and that lead him to believe that she had the kind of life that she couldn't completely be herself in.

Alec wasn't so use to waiting around wither. He was often doing things, even when it was at home. Still he did enjoy her company even if she wasn't ready to share anything about herself. He wondered how he could get her to open up a little in a way that would make her feel like she wasn't sharing any top secrete information. "When you have time all to yourself what do you do for fun?" he asked guessing she didn't have a lot of it but none the less she had to have something that she thought fun that was safe to talk about. Alec just wanted to know who she was behind her layers of secrecy.

Winston nodded as he recognized Evie's desire to move forward with the conversation. He certainly had no rejections to this as Winston was more than happen to stop talking about politics. He had enough of it in his life to want to discuss others things with such a beautiful woman. "Oh, I have a few things that I am rather passionate about. Fencing and archery being too. I also enjoy skiing and soccer." He smiled and decided to skip over traveling, his horses and his volunteer work as that would get a bit too close to his royal heritage. Winston also felt that getting into his desire to help and improve people's lives would go back to his interest in politics.

"Those are the things I tend to do in my free time. Well, except laying around and watching TV like everyone else." He said with a chuckle and a charming smile. Winston finished up his scone before taking another sip of his coffee. While Winston was enjoying their conversation and wanted to keep Evie to himself, he was wondering if it was getting late for the human. How late did humans tend to stay up? And should he walk her home or wait for her to say something? Though if he stayed quiet on the matter, maybe he could keep her for a bit longer.
Madeline lifted her cup once again and took a long sip of the blood, needing a moment to think about her answer. It was not very often that she had time to herself. Most of her days were filled from the time she woke up until she headed off to sleep. She had responsibilities, appearances to keep up, relationships to build and manage, and her volunteer work. Madeline wasn't Queen but she was next in line and that came with its own expectations. She had to help but wasn't allowed to make decisions...

"I like the spa." Madeline told him. It was somewhere she had to go rather frequently to keep up looks, but it was always so peaceful. No one ever bothered her there. And it wasn't like she could admit to some other things without raising suspicion as they weren't exactly commonplace. Though she also knew she had to give him more than that. "And I draw, a little. The internet is pretty amazing as well... to be honest, I don't usually have a lot of time to do things. So the things I do like have to be able to fit into my schedule. Like I could draw anywhere so..." Madeline gave him a little shrug. "What do you do?"

Evelynn smiled. "Well you sound like a very active man then." she said and chuckled. She never really got into all the sports things but it would be fun to try them. "Maybe you will have to take me out and try some of these things." she said grinning at him. They could have a lot of fun dates with him just teaching her all about his passion for them. She chuckled as he said he also lounged around watching TV. "What got you so interested in all of these sports?" she asked him. She didn't want the night to end and was well intent on going late into the night with Winston just talking and holding his hand if she could get away with it.

Evelynn watched Winston as he talked enjoying watching the passion he had for his sports. There was something about passion that really drew her in. She finished her drink and watched as he finished his. "Would you like to explore this place a little it has a lot of hidden places. I don't think I have even found them all yet." She grinned. There were a lot of things she liked to do that really it took getting to know her to find out. Evelynn wasn't the best about talking about herself but she tried still.
Alec looked at Madeline as she said she liked the spa. He didn't know what kind of life she lived so he couldn't say why she liked the spa but before he could ask she went into other things she liked. He grinned as he listened. It was interesting that she was normally so busy and needed things she could do anywhere. It made him question a lot of things and he was sure he would be asking soon. She asked what he liked to do and he chuckled. "Well I have a lot of time on my hands between work. So I experiment with cooking, I like to find new things that are good and that taste even better with blood added in. I also paint up in the loft. I don't think I am very good but it's fun anyways. I do a lot more probably but that's all I can think of right now." he shrugged. "What would you do if you could do anything?" he asked her.

Alec knew there was an entire world out there and opening it up to her might not be fair but he had a feeling that she needed to be given the permission to look at the world for herself and the possibilities of it. Alec sat back looking at her as her mind went over what he proposed to her. He was sure there was so much she hadn't thought about with the life she has had so far just from what he could gleam from what she was saying about her life in the vague details.

"I think you would find some of them rather enjoyable." Winston said with a warm smile. "And it would be a good time, teaching you how to play some of them as well." He liked the idea of it, showing Evelynn how to play these different sports, having some fun and Winston knew it would give him the opportunity to wrap his arms around her and 'show' her how to do it properly. And he had a feeling that Evelynn would enjoy that as well. "Sports have been a really great way for me to get out and blow some steam." He told her. "It's a way for me to go have some fun so I can refocus on what I need to afterwords. So, I just keep jumping from sport to sport."

Once she mentioned walking around the coffee shop to discover its secrets, Winston stood up and offered Evelynn his arm. "How about you show me some of the secrets you have already found so I have an idea of what we are looking for." He looked down at her, looking over Evelynn's face for a moment. Damn, she was gorgeous.
Madeline was quiet for a moment after Alec asked his question. There were plenty of things she had done, experiences Madeline had the opportunity of enjoying because of who she was. Though Madeline had never stopped and asked herself what she would do if her life hadn't already been planned for her. It seemed cruel to herself to stop and have that moment considering it changed nothing. From the day she was born, Madeline had a responsibility and a duty to the people. She would be a disgrace if she turned away from that. Surely disowned and alone as well...

No, Madeline wasn't going to ask herself that question for the sake of Alec's curiosity. She needed to keep moving forward with who she was, not who she might like to be. Though, still, Madeline put on a small smile and looked over at Alec. It was easy for her to answer a question without really answering it. "It would absolutely be a shower." Madeline joked with a warm smile on her face. "I'm hoping I'll feel better soon enough for that."

Evelynn smiled as she listed to him talk about sports. She chuckled. "It seems you are saying that you are a bit of a procrastinator at times." she teased playfully. It would be fun to spend so much time with Winston and learn his favorite sports. They stood and she took the arm he offered to her wrapping her arms around him. She grinned and thought about some of the places she has found trying to think of the best one. "Alright." she said looking up at him. She smiled her head tilting slightly. There was something in the way he was looking at her. She blushed and looked down bitting her lip. "Come on." she said and walked with him out of the room and down the hall. She slipped through an opening that didn't look like a hallway. She took his hand as the opening narrowed pulling him with her until they came to an opening that was dark with a glowing ceiling and bean bags all over the floor. She chuckled looking up at him. "They designed this place like a maze. It's amazing." she said and turned to him the soft glow making it hard to see more than just shadows. She ran her hand up his arm to make sure she was really facing him her blush gracing her cheeks again as she stepped close to him.
Alec sighed as she answered. "You can just say you rather not talk about it." he said and smiled. He understood sometimes some questions were too hard to face. He looked back out at the night watching the stars twinkle. "Do you have any prying questions for me?" he grinned and looked over at her. "I am pretty much an open book." he said smiling. To him honesty was the most important thing and if he could have it over all else he would choose it but he understood as well sometimes there was a point that the truth was not good. Most times he could tell the difference and that was the reason he was were he was now in his life.

Alec wondered what Maddy might think of him. He was sure that she had met so few people like him but he hoped she didn't think him a complete fool. He wasn't sure why it mattered. Maybe it was his hope that he could change her life in some kind of fashion even if it was just a little for the greater good. He was young and free to help try and change the world for the better and as long as he had that option he would do his best to continuously challenge the status quo of thinking.

A smile graced Winston's face as he looked down at Evie. He knew that she would have some difficulty seeing him, but he could see her as clear as day. It was easy to see the blush run over her cheeks, and in fact, he could smell it as well. Ah, she did smell rather amazing. Slowly, Winston reached up and pressed his hand against her cheek before running a thumb over her cheek. He did want to take a bite out of her...

"This is a very...interesting place." Winston murmured as he took a moment to look around. It was nice, quiet, dark and private. "I am a bit more intrigued with someone else, however." Though there was something he wanted to do a lot more than sink his teeth into her. Leaning down, Winston pressed his lips against her. His free arm slowly wrapping around her waist and pulling Evie into him. Everything about having her close to him just felt right. Everything about Evie just felt right...
Madeline's smile dropped as Alec sighed and gave her his response. She had been hoping he would just go along with her joke, pretend not to notice her skip along his question like most polite company did. Though now, she was staring at the man, unsure of what to do with him. Or if she should even bother. Madeline felt as though she had an obligation to be nice to her host but he was asking so many questions and most of them were ones she had no plan on answering seriously. Just because he helped her, Madeline was under no obligation to be an 'open book' for Alec to read. Maybe he knew more than he was letting on? Maybe Alec did know who she was?

"Why do you care?" Madeline asked as she looked him over. Her eyes narrowed as she tried to size Alec up. Was there more here going on than she originally thought or was he really just that nosy? "What does my life, or my story or who I am matter to you? I am just some stranger you found beat up in a park. Why even bother? Why even bring me home and help me and then ask all these questions? What do you even want?"
