A small sigh escaped from Alex as he ran a hand through his hair. All of this stuff was giving him a headache and they probably haven't even scratched the surface of any of it. As a lawyer, Alex is sure that he's in way over his head, but like any good person in his career. He's going to do his best and hopes that he doesn't screw up.

"What are some of the customs that I'd need to follow then?" Alex asked, reaching out, he grabbed his drink that was set on the table and took a few sips from the straw. His gaze focused on the young girl across from him as he waited for her to explain. "I mean, do I need to bow to certain people? Is it bad to make eye contact with certain people?" He set his glass down and relaxed back against the booth as the waitress brought their food.

His eyes looked down at the small assortment of food they had. It all looked so good and he was certain that it was. His eyes then looked up towards Victoria as he wondered if she'd be able to figure out how to eat some of the things they ordered by herself. Or, if he should teach her how to eat some of him to save her the humiliation.

Usually, Alex would show Victoria, but. He was feeling teasing and just sat back a she waited to see if she'd be able to figure it out herself. Of course, he'd make sure that she wouldn't hurt herself, but still.

Without saying anything, Alex reached over and grabbed the napkin that Victoria was drawing on. His eyes looking over all of the little details she had added. "Wow, you have some skills." He murmured as he examined the napkin. It would certainly help him out when they finally get to her world.

"Perhaps we should not be too worried about the customs," Victoria said, her voice gentle as she did so. It seemed that all of this was becoming too much for Alex. It was understandable and Victoria didn't want to bury him under a wealth of information. "I think people won't be overly concerned about your manners if you're with me... or carrying a passed out princess."

"Besides, once the castle knows what happened, I think everyone will know you're a bit clueless." Victoria teased lightly. While she knew it would be good to teach him a few things, the princess was thinking that would be best to save for once they arrived. Besides, she was unsure how long he would stay in her country anyway. She hoped he would stay for a while, so Victoria could treat him to her world like he had done for her. Passed that, she was sure he would want to go home.

"Just be kind and people will be kind with you." Victoria assured him. Her eyes then dropped down as the plates of food were set down on the table. Once the waitress left, Victoria lifted her head up and looked at Alex, waiting for him to start eating so she would know what to do herself. Pizza was eaten with hands, the Chinese food was with chopsticks... It was odd to her. Though, she noticed very quickly that Alex was paying no mind to the food in front of them, instead looking at the map she had drawn.

She looked back down at the dumplings. Well, this seemed to have a doughy shell like pizza. And there was no sauce on it. So, Victoria picked one of the pork dumplings from the plate with her hands and took a bite out of it. She regretted it immediately. The princess dropped the dumpling back on the plate before covering her mouth as steam came from it. She had not expected it to be so hot!

It seemed that Alex had some luck today as he glanced up and witnessed Victoria do what all noobs to dumplings do. A snort escaped from him as he watched her drop the hot doughy thing. Then a chuckle escaped from him as he grabbed a clean napkin as he leaned over the table and dabbed the mess she made on the table.

"Sorry, you had to be initiated into foreign foods," Alex said, offering a small wink as he grabbed another napkin and offered it to Victoria to wipe her face. "You did better than me when I first had dumplings," Alex said as he picked up the soup spoon and scooped up one of the dumplings. "When I first had these, I shoved a whole one into my mouth. Couldn't eat for a week because of the burn." He told her as he gently bit the top of the soup dumpling and drank the juice.

"Sorry, but sometimes you gotta learn on your own," Alex said, winking at Victoria as he finished the rest of the dumpling that was on the Chinese soup spoon after blowing on it.

Motioning to the other food that was on the table, Alex started to explain how to eat them. Not wanting to anger Victoria anymore then he probably had. "I promise to make it up to you, alright?" Alex offered, as he picked up his utensils and started to eat the food that they were sharing.

After a while of silence, Alex looked up and his smile slowly slipped from his lips. "Crap." He mumbled, slowly shifting his body to try and hide his face from someone who was sitting diagonally from them. His ex-girlfriend, and her new boyfriend.

It took Victoria a couple of moments before she was able to swallow the dumpling that was in her mouth. Once she did so, she quickly took the napkin that was in his hands and started to wipe off her face. "What a horrible custom!" Victoria told him as he said she had to be 'initiated into foreign foods'. Her nose wrinkled a bit as he continued to speak, "You do realize that I have magic and you don't right?"

She raised an eyebrow at him, a little smirk coming across her lips. "And I happen to be an excellent sorceress as well. I may not know much about cross-world travel but I am an expert in transfiguration and charms, among other things" She glanced down at her meal before picking up her cup. "Perhaps I'll turn you into a tea set for a bit." Victoria teased. In truth, Victoria wouldn't do something like that to Alex. Though it did seem like fun to mess with him since he messed with her.

Though a smile came over her lips as Alex promised to make it up to her later and he showed her how to eat them. Soon enough, Victoria was now able to enjoy the meal that they were sharing. But, it didn't seem long before Alex's mood quickly changed. She looked up at him with some confusion as she watched Alex shift so his back was facing the restaurant. "What are you doing?"

Turning, Victoria started to look through the area. There weren't a lot of people there, but a few. It seemed the only thing that had changed was a lady and a gentleman having sat down to eat. Victoria looked back at Alex as she leaned in slightly. "Are you trying to hide from them? Are you in the middle of a duel or something?" Victoria asked as she looked back at the two again. "I can turn them into a teapot for you if you want." She joked lightly

Another round of chuckled escaped from Alex as he listened to Victoria's little spout of anger. She was quite adorable when she tried to seem angry. Alex couldn't help but shrug his shoulders nonchalantly at her little threat. "This isn't beauty and the beast, I'm not scared." He told her, then winked to let her know he was just teasing her still.

Then, a small sigh escaped from Alex as he glanced towards Victoria before looking back at the couple once more. "No, no duel. Just, drama." He mumbled quietly, looking back towards Victoria, His lips set in a deep frown to show that he wasn't quite happy with the current situation. "Remember when we were talking about couples?" He asked, waiting for some kind of recognition from Victoria before he'd continue to speak.

"Well, here. We have something called break-up's." Alex paused, allowing for Victoria to try and wrap her head around it. "Breakups are where the couple decides that they no longer want to be together. Usually, it's both pairs that agree that they have grown apart and are in agreement that they should see other people. In my case though, it was one-sided." Alex mumbled, then sighed as he ran a hand over his face.

"I broke up with that girl last year, and this is the first time in a while that I've seen her," Alex explained, then sighed as he sat back in his seat. "An the guy she's with is the guy she cheated on me with. My old best friend." An annoyed chuckle escaped from Alex. "This is just perfect." He mumbled, annoyed with the fact that even though she begged for him to stay with her, she still went with him after he said no.

After a moment, Alex allowed himself to calm down. He raised a hand and rubbed tiredly at his eyes. "Ah sorry. I didn't mean to unload all of that onto you."

A deep frown came over Victoria's lips at Alex's story. She could feel a sea of anger start to rise up in her. It wasn't right. People who did that, who cheated, deserved the worse. How could someone just do that to another? How could someone do that to the person that was the love of their life? Truly only scum did that in her world, and Victoria felt as though it must be the same here, with the way that Alex was talking. She had a difficult time understanding their dating situation, but Victoria was at least sure of that. "That is truly terrible."

Victoria turned her head and looked over at the man and the woman at the other table. She didn't know them, but she knew she hated them. She hated what they did to Alex, who had been nothing but kind to her. No one deserved that kind of treatment. The girl's eyes started to glow a deep purple as she mumbled a few words under her breath. It only took a moment before the man and woman's eyes glowed as well - but only for a moment. Though that was all it took for something to change.

The man and the woman looked a little confused for a few moments, almost like they were shellshocked. But after that first initial moments, their actions started to change immediately. Instead of smiling, trying to be close and looking in love, both of them pulled back from each other. A scowl started to come over the man's face as his body grew rigid. The girl, on the other hand, noticed Victoria and Alex. For a moment, she looked longingly at Alex before a deep frown coming along her lips before her eyes narrowed in anger at Victoria.

"What are you looking at huh?" The man said before looking over at them as well. He growled a bit when he noticed the two of them sitting there, especially not liking that his girlfriend was looking at them. "Oh? Still wish you were with your ex huh?" The man said angrily. "I always fucking knew it. Knew that you wanted him more than me."

The girl looked at the man and rolled her eyes. "Get over yourself, Lucas." She said before throwing her hair back a bit, her arms folding in front of herself. "You're so pathetic, whining like a child. Is that what you think, huh? That you're just second fiddle?" The woman side-eyed Victoria before her voice grew a bit louder, as if she wanted Alex to overhear her. "He is with that skank anyways."

After having unloaded his thoughts on Victoria, Alex closed his eyes. His read resting back for a moment as he took in a few deep breaths. He really should not have unloaded that onto the otherworldly woman. It wasn't any of her business. Rather he was still heartbroken or not, his ex was with someone who was making her happy. So, he shouldn't dwell on it anymore. He should be happy for her, it was the adult thing to do. Right?

Once Alex felt like he had himself under control, he opened his eyes. Offered a small smile towards Victoria and opened his mouth to apologize for unloading something so deep onto her. After all, they just met a few days ago, but when he opened his mouth something strange happened. The words that escaped from his ex's mouth really caught him off guard.

Casting his eyes towards the woman, Alex couldn't help his look of shock. "That is so uncalled for," Alex mumbled before looking towards Victoria. A worried look appearing on his face as he slowly shook his head. "I am so sorry about her," Alex mumbled, remembering that his ex, Crystal, always had a harsh way with words and even though he didn't know she was under some sort of spell, he felt the need to apologize about her behavior.

Still feeling the glare from his ex, Alex reached into his pocket to make sure he had his wallet. "Want to leave?" He asked, wanting to make sure that Victoria had eaten enough before grabbing onto her hand and leading her past the couple. Of course, he wouldn't have missed the scowl that his ex had sent their way. Which resulted in Alex squeezing Victoria's hand a little bit tighter.

(By the way, I was imagining the friend's name to be Lucas before you posted. XD)

For a millisecond, the thought of telling Alex what she had done crossed Victoria's mind. She didn't want him apologizing for their behavior, and Victoria wasn't insulted at all by either person. After all, Victoria knew what had come over them. Though, Victoria had the sneaking suspicion that Alex would tell her to stop the spell, something that the woman would refuse to do- at least for now. They both deserved to suffer. Besides, Victoria knew she would see them again before they left for her world.

So, instead, Victoria held onto Alex's hand tightly as he lead her out of the restaurant. The princess glanced back at the two of them, sending a wink Lucas' way and a glare at Crystal. That alone would keep them busy for the next hour...or three. Victoria could hear the explosion from the couple as the restaurant door closed behind them. She couldn't help the little smile that came along her lips. Justice had been served.

Lifting her head back, Victoria looked up at Alex and gave him a gentle smile before squeezing his hand back. "Never apologize for them. What they do is not your fault. And, I promise, I am okay. Their words do not affect me." Victoria was quiet for a moment before looking back at Alex. Her curiosity was getting the better of her, and she knew it. "Besides, it must make you feel a little better to know that they have grown to resent each other after what they did to you."

Instead of waiting for a response, Victoria tugged on Alex a little, not wanting him to be more upset than he was in the restaurant. She immediately regretted the question she asked, fearful that Alex would not appreciate what she did. "We should finish up our shopping."

After paying for their meal and tipping their waitress, Alex led Victoria out of the restaurant and onto the streets. His lips pursed together as he thought over what Victoria had said. A small inkling of a feeling telling him that she had something to do with it, but didn't say anything. They looked so lovingly at each other and then it was like a bomb went off. It was weird, but, it didn't concern him anymore.

"That's not the point of things," Alex said as he looked down at the beauty that was walking next to him. "Their lives no longer concern me, right now. I'm concerned about you because you're in my life and they aren't. They can feel whatever they want for each other and the world, it doesn't concern me."

A nod of his head was all Alex gave Victoria when she suggested that they continue with their little shopping endeavor. Going to multiple stops in China town and then having to travel to Little Italy to get a few other things that Alex couldn't honestly pronounce, but. It seemed like they got almost all of the things that they needed and that was good. It was a start, at least.

"So, what are we missing?" Alex asked as he brought the bags of what they currently just brought to his apartment. Multiple bags in each arm so that he didn't have to make as many trips back to the car, plus they weren't that heavy as each bag pretty much just had one or two items in them.

Glancing over his shoulder, Alex called out to Victoria. "Can you close the door for me? My hands are a little full." He looked forward and set everything onto the counter once he was inside of his apartment and sighed. Who knew they did so much shopping. Glancing towards the clock on his stove, Alex couldn't help but sigh. It was nine at night, they had been out shopping all day and he was exhausted. "Want a beer?"

The Princess' nose wrinkled a bit at his words. That was not what she was hoping for. She wanted to hear that Victor was glad this was happening to them. That they were getting what they deserve. Not that he didn't care about them anymore. How much could that be true anyways? Considering how Alex acted at the restaurant , he had to be a lie... Though he kept that to himself for the rest of the day.

Alexandria let out an exhausted sigh as she closed the door to the apartment behind them. It had been a very long day. As much as the princess loved going around and seeing what Earth was like, it had been tiring. At least they had gotten everything on their list for the potion. That was something the woman was going to work on the following day. "That was everything on your list." She murmured softly. "Now I just need to work on the potion tomorrow. Figure out if I can make it with those ingredients and such."

"A beer sounds nice." Heading over to the living room, Alexandria laid down and rubbed her face. She was ready to drift off to sleep. "We will just need to plan a distraction so I can get my hands on that sorcerer. Once he tells us what we need to know, then we should be able to leave. As long as the potion can be made, that is." With another loud sigh, the princess closed her eyes and started to curl up on the couch.

"I still need to draw you a map as well." The princess murmured as she pressed her back against the couch. It was so so sooooo comfortable. There was one thing she wished she could change and that were her clothes. She had kinda gotten used to them but they still were not as comfortable as her own nightgowns. Plus the blue jeans were very restrictive. "Is there anything else that you can think of?"

Going into his fridge, Alex grabbed two glass bottles of blue moon and brought them to the living room. Setting them down on the coffee table, Alex sat across from the tired Princess. "Do you have any sort of idea on how we should distract that guy?" Alex asked as he relaxed in his chair, one leg over the other as he eyed the young girl.

"You just twist the cap," Alex added on as he showed her his beer and how he just twisted the cap. Then, he tossed the cap onto the table before relaxing. Raising the beer to his lips, Alex took a few sips before lowering it. Allowing the cool liquid to cool him down a bit and help him relax.

"You drew me that landmark map on a napkin at the restaurant. Isn't that good enough? Or di I need a bigger one?" He asked, reaching into his pocket and pulling out the crumpled up napkin that was in his pocket. "It's small, but I can't really go around with a large one while carrying your unconscious body around." He pointed out, a look of worry on his face.

After a moment, Alex let out a sigh and ran a hand down his face. "Although, if you want to make one that's slightly bigger, I can give you a sheet of printing paper to draw on. That way I can just fold it and put it in my pocket. It'll probably be less crumbly that way actually." Alex mumbled the last part to himself as he thought it over.

Clearing his throat, Alex took another sip of his beer before setting it on the table. "So, how will you make the potion? Do you need any special bowls or something?" Alex asked, wanting to make sure they covered all of the basis. They got ingredients, but nothing else, so he hoped his old kitchen set of things would be enough for them.

"This world is so strange," Victoria whispered. "If we just distracted them with something of this world, it would be easy enough. Just put something in front of them that they don't know and they won't be paying attention to what is happening to the other members of their group." Slowly, the princess sat up and opened the bottle. She took a long drink before letting out a small hum and setting it down.

"I wouldn't say that it is good enough. It is made of such soft material. Once it gets wet, that will be completely useless. Though, I suppose that a map would be difficult for you to navigate if you are carrying me with it as well... I hope that it does not come to that but it is better to be safe than sorry." Alexandria took another long drink before standing up and heading over to Alex.

Sitting down on the ground, next to Alex's chair. She took a few moments, sliding the remaining rings off as she did so, setting them down onto the ground. "I won't need any special bowls for the potions. Any bowl will do. Though it will take time and heat. I will also have to do it at night as I don't want the light affecting it since I will be using new materials as well. Though we can do it tomorrow night and hopefully, be successful right away. But tomorrow day we can relax. There is no need to go kidnap that man until the potion is done. Especially since we don't want to let him go until we are about to leave. Otherwise, he can get to the others."

Reaching up, Victoria reached up and took Alex's hand into hers. She laced her fingers together with his, holding onto him tightly. The thought of telling him what she was doing crossed her mind, but it seemed much easier to just do it rather than explain. Especially since it was something Victoria felt hesitant to do in the first place. The princess had wanted to avoid it altogether but she was counting on him getting her home too much to not. It felt like too big of a risk not to go for it.

Closing her eyes, light orange magic started to flow down from the back of her neck, her shoulder, down her arm, her hand, through her fingertips and to Alex. It slid up his fingers, his hands, his arms, his shoulder and neck before finally reaching the back of his neck. Once it reached it, flashing images started to pass over Alex's mind. It took a few moments until those images started to slow down. A map of her country started to form clearly in Alex's mind, giving him a complete overview of the country. Where the capital and the palace was, giving him a good sense of the terrain and showing him through red lines of possible paths that would be safest for Alex to take, depending on where they ended up.

Heat started to swell up in his mind, an almost burn like sensation as the image was being seared into his memory. It was intense but no pain was associated with the feeling.

As Victoria tried to drop down into the map, an attempt to show the man what the country looked like, things started to flash over his mind again. Though this time, these were images that Victoria had not meant to show. Flashes of the palace, of her room there. Grand Balls, parties, of suitors almost begging for her attention. Images of her arguing with her parents, an incident of learning magic that almost caused her death, of fighting hand to hand with an intruder. Victoria tried to take control of it once again, the images now flashing back and forth fast enough to just show blinks of light. Nothing coming through now but a sense of panic.

Victoria was quick to let go of Alex's hand, immediately breaking the spell as she did so. The princess let out a loud gasp, trying to catch her breath. Though she was quick to move onto her knees in front of Alex, lightly grabbing onto Alex's hand and face. She looked up at him with worry, looking in his eyes as she tried to ensure she hadn't left him shellshocked or comatose. "I am sorry. I am so sorry. That wasn't meant to happen."

It seemed that things were slowly moving forward with the plan that Alex and Victoria were creating. They had the ingredients, the material, now it seemed like they just needed to hope that it all worked. Which, Alex really hoped it all did or they were both in for some deep trouble. Not just from those strange guys chasing Victoria, but from the possible effects, the spell could have on them when they pass from one world to another.

Glancing up, Alex watched Victoria move towards him. He gave her an arched eyebrow as he watched her, taking another sip of his beer before setting it on the coffee table before he let Victoria hold his hand. At first, he was really confused and wanted to tease her about it. When the pictures started to move through his mind though, things started to become clear, and he was amazed. Not just by the fact of what she was able to do, but, because everything felt so familiar to him.

The map that Victoria was stilling into his mind was burning into his memory. Like, he was being branded like cattle. It stung, but over a few seconds, it stopped and didn't feel like anything. It was just, there. All of the different paths, all of the hills, possible blockages, they were all visible to him. He could spot everything.

"Woah." Was the only thing that slipped through his lips as he blinked and looked at Victoria. She no longer looked like the spirited girl he'd come to know. She was a royal family member, born and raised to one-day help rule a country that needed her back. He had seen her memories, of the balls, of those who were after her heart. Victoria was a lot stronger then he gave her credit for.

Slowly, Alex raised one of his hands and gently placed it over Victoria's hand. He offered a small smile before slowly grabbing the hands that were on his cheek and held it in his lap as he looked at her. "That was amazing." He told her as he held onto both of her hands. His voice sounding a little breathless as he slowly came out of his stupor. "That, was your home? An all the paths that lead to the castle?" He asked, his voice sounding amazed, with a little bit of surprise mixed into it. The place was a lot bigger then he thought, and he was becoming a little more nervous about how long it could take them if they ended up somewhere farther away.

Victoria immediately started to relax as it was clear that Alex was more than okay. She had been worried that the way she ended it would have sent him into bit of a shock. Those last memories she hadn't meant to share, only wanting to give him the paths. And Victoria had been concerned about how quickly the connection had been cut off. Though, it was clear that Alex was stronger than she gave him credit for. Perhaps magic didn't affect him as much as she thought it would on earthlings.

A warm smile started to come over her lips and she squeezed his hands. "That is home. And I showed you all of the safe paths that lead back to the castle. So stick to those... if for some reason we ended up in a different country, just bring us to an inn, and stay there until I wake up. But I will try to bring us as close to the castle as I can."

She let out a small sigh as she laid her head down on their hands. In truth, that took more out of Victoria than she really cared to admit. Victoria had magic in this strange land, she knew that. And she knew that it was possible to get back what she expelled rather easily. Though, the princess was beginning to figure out that it took more effort to use her powers on Earth than at home. Something about this place just made things a bit more difficult.

After a moment, Victoria lifted her head back up and smiled at Alex. "And at least you won't need a map anymore." She teased lightly before letting go of him. The princess grabbed the rings from the floor, sliding them back onto her hands. "Once we get home if someone asks to share memories, say no. I only shared my memories with you. Others might peek into your mind."

Standing up onto her feet, Victoria lightly pressed the back of her hand against his head. "Are you sure you are okay?" She asked, concern in her voice.

A warm feeling started to swell inside of Alex as he watched Victoria's smile grow on those pretty lips of hers. Nothing made him feel more happy for some reason, then just seeing those ends of her mouth curl into a smile. "Thank you." He told her, his voice quiet as he spoke to her. His own lips moving into a light smile as he looked at her.

The sudden urge to run his fingers through Victoria's hair past over Alex as she laid her head on his lap. She was being so sweet, it was not something that he'd expect from her. Not in the least bit.

"Can people alter someone else's memories when they do that memory thing?" Alex asked as he watched her lift her head and put her own rings back on. "Or, are people just able to peak into someone else's memories? An then they have the ability to blackmail someone because of that? Also, why do people have to ask permission to see someone's memories? Can't they just grab a random person off the street and do that memory trick?"

A small sigh escaped from Alex's lips as he looked at Victoria. He was a little tired from the whole thing, but otherwise, he felt fine. "I just feel tired and have a headache. We've had a long day after all." He told her as he relaxed back in his chair. Then he proceeded to stretch his arms above his head and allowed for a small yawn to escape from his lips. "Do you feel alright? After showing me all of that, I mean. Was it exhausting for you?" Alex asked, a little worried that she might have overdone it a little bit or something.

"It is possible to alter someone's memory but what I just did would not be the way to go about it," Victoria responded. "What I did is just a spell for sharing and receiving memories. I shared with you, you received. It would also work the other way around, where you share and I receive. And people don't have to ask permission to do it, but they tend to as it is bad manners to just take without asking. Besides, I was just making it a joke. It's unlikely that someone will ask to see your memories."

Dropping her hand from his forehead, Victoria gave him a small nod. "It is probably best that you relax then. As for myself, I am tired. Magic is a bit more difficult in this world than in mine. Though I will be fine with a little bit of rest. To be honest, I am more embarrassed than anything else. I lost control of the connection at the end and showed things I didn't mean to. I apologize for that as I am sure the whole experience was rather odd to you."

Silence overcame Victoria for a moment before she let out a small sigh and continued on. "After saying that I do think it is best for me to go lay down. Sleep well, Alex." With that, Victoria turned and made her way to her room. She was tired, both from the spell but also from the day that they had had. And even though there was not much to do until the following evening, Victoria had a feeling that tomorrow would still be eventful. After all, one of her spells were currently free in the city, terrorizing two people. They would be lucky to make it through the night without one of them banging on Alex's door.

Once back in her room, Victoria slid out of the weird earthing clothes and into the comfy, oversized pajamas that they bought. She rubbed her face against the soft cotton before putting on the rest of her rings and climbing into bed to get a good night's rest.

The comforting smell of freshly cooked pancakes and bacon waffered through the air as Alex stood in front of the stove. He had stayed up a little while longer last night after Victoria had gone off to bed. Ending up finishing his beer and Victoria's in record time and causing his headache to really pulse because of that stupid action.

Still, though, he managed to sleep decently and had even managed to sleep in till nine this morning. Which was a long time for the lawyer since he was usually up at five and went to bed at about midnight most nights because of work things? So, this little vacation from his work was really helping him relax. Kinda.

A quiet whistle escaped from Alex as he flipped a few pancakes and then went about setting plates and plating the food. He let out a small yawn as he made sure that they both had the same amount of the delicious food. He wasn't sure if Victoria had pancakes in her world or bacon, but he really hoped she'd appreciate that he was once again showing her a side of Earth's food culture as these were staples in his diet as a child.

Just as he started to pour them some orange juice, Alex heard footsteps and watched as Victoria emerged. "Hey." He said as he pulled the juice away from the cups and put the cap on it. "Hungry?" He asked as he went about putting the juice away and then sitting down. He felt like a housewife after doing so much cooking and shopping with Victoria, but. To be honest, he found it kinda fun to spoil someone again.

"I figured since we'll be doing a lot of stuff later, we might as well have a good breakfast to start us off right," Alex said as he motioned to the fruit he had brought out for them as well as some greek yogurt.

A soft smile came over Victoria's lips as she came out to the sight of Alex cooking breakfast for them both. It was a nice sight considering she felt rather hungry from the yesterday's events. "Thank you, Alex." Victoria murmured as she came, sitting down in the seat next to his. "And I am very hungry and everything smells so good." Her eyes turned to the fruit and yogurt that Alex had pointed out. Picking up the orange colored food, Victoria took a bite out of it. Though, the moment she did, a look of disgust came over her face. She placed it down with a frown, not liking the taste of the strange wrapping that covered the juicy center.

Her eyes drifted back to what Alex was doing. It was probably best to keep following his lead on food. It seemed that he was taking a few of the bread like food and pouring some liquid on it. Well, whatever it was, it smelled delicious. Victoria copied the man before cutting it up and taking a bit out of it. Immediately, her eyes lit up. "Wow." The princess murmured before beginning to eat a bit faster. After a few more bites, she started to speak again.

"We actually don't have anything to do during the day today. So maybe we can be a bit lazy until tonight?" The thought excited Victoria. It was not very often that she was able to take a break for the whole day. Life was too busy, she had responsibilities and things needed to get done. But now she was in a situation where Victoria couldn't move forward until the potion was done, which needed to be done once the sun set.

Though as Victoria started to dream about that, there was a knock on the door.

It was a good thing that Alex hadn't been eating or drinking anything as he watched Victoria bite into the orange. He knew it was rude to keep teasing her, but it was hilarious to him! He couldn't help but to try and hide his laugh with a few coughs so that he didn't seem rude. "Believe it or not, some people like that gross taste." He said, trying to make Victoria not feel so bad. "I don't have any on the table, but people like the peels of banana's as well. Some myths say that the peels help whiten teeth as well." He told her, shrugging his shoulders at the thought.

Pride washed over Alex as he watched Victoria enjoy her pancakes. He was glad that she seemed to be liking everything that he's shown her so far. Although, it made him wonder if there was anything that the Princess didn't like. Opening his mouth, Alex was about to ask that question when a knock met his ears.

Casting a curious look towards Victoria. Alex closed his mouth and moved to stand up. "Try the bacon, and think about what you want to do to relax," Alex said as he grabbed a piece of bacon from the plate in the middle of the table and took a bite as he went to the door. "Coming," Alex said as he heard the knock on the door once again. Whoever was on the other side, was growing impatient it seemed.

"Yeah?" Alex asked as he pulled the heavy door open once he unlocked it. His whole body freezing at the sight in front of him. Then, he couldn't help but scowl slightly as he noticed his ex-girlfriend standing in the doorway. Her eyes looked a little pink and puffy, and from what Alex could tell, she hadn't changed her close from yesterday either.

"Uh, hey?" Alex said, but his words came out sounding more like a question. As soon as he spoke, his ex started to ball her eyes out. "I-I'm sorry Alex! I'm so sorry." She cried, her voice becoming high pitched as she spoke.

After giving the man a small nod, Victoria took a bite out of the bacon with a pleased hum. She wasn't overly concerned about the knock at the door. After all, she had created her protection spell so those who didn't know how to get here wouldn't find it. Those who did would be able to get to his apartment as per usual. It actually worked out quite well that the princess picked that spell, considering they were in a world full of people that didn't know magic. If an apartment were to disappear, they would all probably flip.

Though, as she heard the voice at the door, Victoria's eyes lit up. Just on time. Victoria headed off of her chair and walked over to the entrance way. She peaked her head over, seeing the woman from yesterday at the door crying her eyes out. A bit of a smirk started across her lips. This was all working out much better than she had originally intended. The woman was clearly distraught and that sent off a couple of signals to Victoria. First of all, their love must have been pretty weak to begin with. People in her world took longer to completely fall apart. More important than that though, Victoria's punishment was working.

Coming out from around the corner, Victoria gave the woman a bit of a smirk. "How about you get lost. He doesn't need you anymore. In fact, I would say that Alex is better off without you completely." Even though she didn't know a lot about the situation, Victoria thought her words had to be true. Alex seemed fine without whoever this girl was. Though, she knew it would send the woman off the deep end. That was the last thing she needed before removing the spell from the woman. In this non-magical world, Victoria couldn't keep the spell on her forever but justice needed to be served before she took it off.

Crystal turned her attention to Victoria. The tears from her eyes started to fall harder than before but a scowl was not coming across her face. She pushed passed Alex and started to yell at the new woman in front of her, the one that was seemingly stealing what was rightfully hers. As the spell ramped up, her eyes flashed a bright pink before going back to normal. "Shut up you whore!" She screamed out. "You're just some nobody that he's using to get over me. How about you drill that into that thick skull of yours and get lost. What you have is nothing compared to what we had. I love him. I fucked up, okay! I fucked up big time but I love him more than anyone could understand! Now I am going to get him back and if I have to fight you, I'll do it."

Victoria couldn't help but let out a laugh at Crystal's threat. "You wouldn't even be able to get a punch in before you were passed out on the ground. You have nothing compared to me." Crystal started to growl before pulling out her earrings. "That's it you fucking skank."
