Dang, eighteen days till Spirit Bound's release. Just around the corner guys. It seems like just yesterday, my life turned upside down and Blood Promise was released.

Who is going to get it the day it comes out?

I'm praying I can go to Barnes and Nobles on Tuesday.

-rips my hair out- I GOT THE BOOK! And I thought it was really good. It has a bigger cliffhanger than even Blood Promise. Why? Simply because it left off in the middle of something incredibly large. December fourteenth can not come soon enough now.

Spoilers: And really guys, it is only one. But it is such an earth shattering one for some of us that I had to say something.

SHE BROUGHT DIMITRI BACK! I won't say anything more than that, but she brought him back. I had to get that out there. It killed me, it really did.

Honest, if something cheesy happens though like "ZOMG DIMITRI'S NOT LONGER STRIGOI YAY" or "YAYAY ROSE+DIMITRI BACK TOGETHER AGAIN" or something of the sort, I may shoot someone. So be prepared to hear my ranting if I don't like it. hahaha (:

Anyway, I was really happy that it wasn't cheesy. Sure, Demetri came back and even though it broke my heart to hear him say 'Love fades' (trust me, I was crying a LOT ), I'm glad that they're gonna have to fight to be together.

And my god. The cliffhanger we're left on. I heard the next book comes out in December? tooooooooooooo long.

I'm marking down the days to December 14th already!!!

I started bawling my eyes out during English class while I was reading the part where Dimitri says "Love fades". And then I did like...a little happy dance when he said "Don't touch her." I was all happy.

SPOILER ALERT!

i was disappointed and kinda upset that Dimitri was all "don't see me, i don't love you anymore" to Rose. i don't believe that he doesn't love her anymore. i kept expecting Rose to just kiss him and then he'd drop the whole "i don't care about you" facade and tell her he still loves her and that he always will and all that crap.

one reason i don't believe him when he says "love fades" is because, remember in the first book, how he told Rose he didn't want her? he did that because he cared about her. if he truly didn't care about her like he says he does, he wouldn't try so hard to get her to leave him alone.

and also, the part where he's protecting Rose like she was the most important thing in the world, kinda proves that. if he didn't love her anymore, he wouldn't have risked his life and reputation to protect her.

So I got it yesterday night and finished it this morning at 12:30 AM. I'm not sure how I feel.

I really hated how Dimitri was turned back and everything was dandy again. It made me want to throw some glass against the floor and watch it shatter into a million pieces. I mean, fine, he was changed back. I was anticipating that would happen (despite the fact that I wished it wouldn't), but being all "ZOMG I AM A TERRIBLE PERSON I CAN'T EVEN LOOK AT MYSELF." My goodness, grow up. I wished he would have been all "what's wrong with you?" and went on a killing spree to turn Strigoi again. Ugh. The whole thing with him really irritated me.

Alright I'm done.

I got my copy in the mail yesterday!! I need to read it but Lost comes out today so I can't. XD I'm too anxious.

I understand where you're coming from. I think that's why Dimitri acted the way he did towards Rose, cause if everything was all and they lived happily ever after, it'd be way too cheesey and just .

I agree whole heartedly. But it wasn't as bad as some predicted that's for sure. I just wish she didn't leave us with the cliff hanger she did. I now have this really bad wish that someone who probably won't die, will. And no, I am not wishing that Dimitri will die this time. Though that would probably put me in a really good mood.

And I'm happy to say that I have read no spoilers yet. Which is why I'm going to get the hell out of here as soon as I post this.

I love this book so much and even though I'm happy about it's success and well liking, it's sad because the majority of people buying the book are only doing it because 'vampires are cool' now. I hate Twilight so much for ruining this formerly underground world but oh well. As long as a fake-fan doesn't get in my face, I'll be fine.

Anyways! I loved the book. Er, spoiler alert?
I found it kind of shocking that Rose would just let Adrian bite her, especially with her own beliefs of the whole blood whore situation. I really wish I knew what Dimitri was thinking when he saw the bite though! And the fact they accused Rose for murder...of Queen Tatiana! Oh my god! When Dimitri secretly showed how much he still loved Rose by defending her like that, but I thought they came for her because of Victor! End rant.

And please to PM or comment me if you would like to talk more on the series. I have yet to find anyone I know who likes it. Even ON the internet...

I would've liked Rose so much more if she'd gotten over Dimitri and gotten with Adrian. But she didn't and I hate her.

Lissa is much more interesting, IMO.

^I agree. The whole time I was hoping that Rose would just get over Dimitri and allow herself to love Adrian without any doubts. The guy freakin' deserves it after all he's been through.

And yes, Christian and Lissa are adorable.
I was anticipating their getting back together for the whole book. Because you knew they couldn't stay broken up for long.

Some of the more major spoilers in white:
I've always said I didn't want Dimitri to be brought back, and I'm still not too fond of it, to be honest. I was sort of hoping they would have found out how to bring back Strigoi, but Rose would have had to end up killing Dimitri to save someone, or herself, but the discovery would really help the rest of their world (Yeah, I kind of suck at happy endings. But that one was sort of bittersweet, at least. ).

I thought it was a little odd how we were just suddenly thrust into an almost completely new storyline right after something like that happened. I always expected bringing back Dimitri (if it happened) to be an end-of-book, maybe even series thing. I'm not too sure about the whole Tatiana/Rose is on trial for murder! plot, but I'm definitely willing to give it a try.

Overall, I didn't think it was bad or anything, but it wasn't a favorite. There were a lot of things I was unsure of, maybe I'll have a more solid opinion on it once it sinks in.
