Now don't get me wrong, Mibba is awesome. I was just wondering what other sites work sotra like this one...

Quizilla is pretty lax on the administration and is full of things that make creating serious work near impossible.

I also found a small new site called www.fireflyon.com which looks cool but is brand new (kinda small) and void of almost any people. But still cool.

So is there any others? Just mainly for the sake of knowing and getting stuff out there...

There's fanfiction.net, but it's not quite the same... It just doesn't have the same feel.

I've seen other writing sites, like LJ, but nothing of this depth and closeness. Mibba is just so friendly and there's so much to do and someone to talk to at all times. It's honestly just... different. Like a giant family. :)

There's fanfiction.net. Great if you like nonbandfics, but it's just not as...homey,.

    I AGREE!

LJ is awesome, though In Love
But I'll never find a site as tight knit as Mibba is

I love Mibba personally. It's fantastic.
I have fanfiction.net account. It's good for reading etc but it's hard to you know have that familial feel such as here.
Everyone is a writer, a member of the community here, over there you're just an author, like the rest.

screw you, myspace. (but I have one :XD)

    But FicWad's pretty great too.

Livejournal is sorta the same, but I think Mibba's the only [successful] site of it's kind whereby it was actually created for stories/poems.
I think Livejournal just started out as like a journal online then people started to use it for stories&icons etc, 'cause we have more options here [subscribe, favourite authors etc]

I've liked mibba the best. But I have tried fictionpress.com. It's just... Not as fun as this site is.

I don't like FicWad much either.
    Fandomination is hardly ever updated.
I actually despise shuffling through so many stories to find a decent one. :shifty
I love Mibba because people here write rather well. I love watching the writer's develop their skills.

I love LJ for its diversity, hugeness and hm... lack of teen population? I don't really hang around writing communities on there, instead I'm in a few reading groups/clubs. It's something I couldn't do on Mibba.
I don't have really close friends on LJ the way I do on Mibba.

The NaNoWriMo site's also cool. But the contest only lasts one month and everything looks chaotic and everyone's too busy writing anyway.

Other sites have the stories, but this is the only site I've found with the personal community.

GDS was really good, but then it died.
    Sullen-Riot is okay.
LiveJournal can be nice, but there isn't really a place to socialize.
Fanfiction.net isn't personable to me, neither is Fictionpress.
Fandomination.net isn't, nor the other few sites like it I've tried.

I don't understand Livejournal. =/ I can't seem to socialize with any of the other users. There never seems to be anything to talk about.

Mibba is like a big family. :)

I left LJ within a week for some reason.
Mibba just has a communal feel to it.
There are other sites where you can find really good fiction though too, on top of the marvelous fiction here already. Regardless, I adore Mibba. In Love
You feel like someone special here, part of something.

Mibba's the only writing site I've joined.

I had a quizilla for a brief period of time before viacom bought it, but it wasn't a great site at all when it came to writing.

I guess one could say IAR is a Mibba-ish site.
