We named two of our cats after Lion King! :tehe: Kiara and Covue.
Named the other two after their colours. One was a British Blue, so we named him BB, and the other we named Cookie because he is white and a caramel sort of colour.

By the time I got to my rabbit and guinea pig, my creativity had disappeared...I just nicknamed them Rabbie and Guinea *hangs head in shame*.

Brinny and Cash were named by my aunt and uncle.
Cash - because he cost them a lot of money.
Brinny - she had a brindle colour to her coat.

Marley - my sister named him after the late, great Bob Marley.
Tiny - my parents and I named her. She is, in actual fact, fucking huge.
Rogue - he was an asshole from day one but he was named after a curry. Rogan Josh to be precise. My parents are curry fiends. Personally I hate the stuff.

Lily, my cat - I dunno. She looked like a Lily to me but now I call her Lilliam.

Well I was a little girl when I got my dog. My -ugh- birth mother would fight with me over what to call her. I really wanted to call her Princess, but that.. thing.. wanted to all her Precious. And she won. So my little girly heart was sad but I had a dog.

    My dog's called Bonnie.
How it happened was when we were looking at the puppies, she jumped up and started wagging her tail. My mum said, "Aw, she's just bonnie!" She just put her ears up.
That's how she got the name.

We named my Baby Tigger (Pit bull) like this:
We were going there and I said "Can we name it Tigger?" she told me no :lmfao '
Any way, we got there and there were 2 puppy's left. One was black and one was brindle, which is like striped. He's reddish brown with black stripes, He was under the table and I thought he was so cute cause he was all alone and he was scared. He wanted to be loved. So I picked him and when we got home I kept saying "Name him Tigger!" so much they just said okay. Of course my parents say My Dad named him Tigger  Oh and I call him Bo bo

The we got Ling Ling, a shih tzus. Which Is great to get with a Pit around. And on the drive back to Houston from Dallas we were all trying to give him a name. We named Him Ling Ling cause my Dad wanted it to be Asian cause shih tzus are Asian. And we were talking about that Show Drawn together. So he got Named Ling Ling after that Thing on Drawn Together.

The we Got Lisa Ling who is a shih tzus also That we got to be Ling's girlfriend. We just picked her name after watching the simpsons xD

We got our two Golden Doodles when I was going through a Grease phase. And one of our dogs has black fur, and the other blonde. So we named them Sandy and Danny.

Well, when we first got my dog when she was still a puppy, her name was Jasmin, but since she was young, we were able to change it.

So we did. Now her name is Jessie. I'm not really sure why we named her that, it just seemed to fit.

Each pet usually goes through a series of 2-5 names until I come up with something that just... sticks.

I named my dog when I was four after watching a television show which stated that Pippi Long Stockings was actually a male. His name is Pip and he's awesome. My cat got her name because of the way she acts for the majority of her time, Spaz. :XD

I was extremely tempted to name my rabbit Frank or Frank Iero. xD
But I called him a Gaelic name in the end, Tadhg.
On account of me being freakishly proud of my Irish history. xD
My grandparents keep calling him Tiger and Tiggy, which makes me want to snap their stupid, weak, little necks...

My cat (Coffee) was named for the colors of her fur.

My guinea pig (Clarabella) was named because I like Twilight (Bella) and I was in the Nutcracker Ballet when I was little (Clara).

My other guinea pig (Samuel) was named indirectly for Batman. He's all black and thinks he can fly. My friend Sam(uel) and I have an inside joke that he's Batman. I didn't like the name Bruce, so I went with Samuel. Also, human Samuel saved my life once.

My other other guinea pig (Emmett) looks like a teddy bear. He's dark brown all over except for his stomach, which is light brown. The character, Emmett, in Twilight is often compared to a bear.

Both my dogs and my horses came with their names, and they responded to it so we kept them.

My cat, Kitty Boo, was named by my brother's friend, because whenever he would come over she would run away from him. At first it was just Boo, but then it became Kitty Boo, I don't know why.

My cat Chip was named because he's black and white xD we we're like ten. My cat Gypsy came with the name, I think. My other cat Mikey was named by me, because I was kind of obsessed with Mikey Way. His brother, Zidane, was named after some soccer player my brother liked.

Now my dad wants to get a little dog and name it Killer xD.

Tabitha "Tabby" - we wanted a posh name for her because she's a pedigree Persian =D And so it was either Tabitha or Matilda, and we decided on Tabitha. (CAT)

Caoímhbhe - pronounced "keeva", it means "beautiful and precious" in Irish, and she came from a horrible household where she was neglected and so we decided to give her some love. (CAT)

Beijing "BJ" - I worked at a kennels in the summer and it would take in stray dogs and cats. BJ was found on the day the Olympics started and so when we adopted him, that's what we named him! (CAT)

Fionn - said "finn", it means "fair" in Irish, and Fionn is blond! My nickname is also Fionn as my name is Fionnuala, and so we decided it fitted. (DOG)

Oisín - said "osheen", it means "little deer" in Irish, and his coat has Bambi speckles =D Plus he's really gentle. (DOG)

My dog is called Tinkerbell. But we've always called her Tinker or Tink. It's because at the kennels my dad got her from, her mother was called Isabell and her grandmother was called Annabell. So her pedigree name is Tawny Hill Tinkerbell. :tehe:
