How Did You Name Your Pets?

My brother named his kitty 'Kit Kat'.
It think it goes with her.

I was looking through my Granny's book of African tribes and decided on Ashanti. :tehe:

I named my cat Piper after my fave tv show at the time several years ago. Then for our dog, that took forever! finally we were deciding between Edison and Da Vinci [my dad wanted something 'smart'] but then we realized when we want to call him fast, we're not gunna call him 'Da!' [lol!] so now he's Eddy! Edison.... yaeh. heh

I didn't, the Human Society did it for me. :XD
But if I did get the chance to name her she'd be Rogue. Yes, after the X-Men character.

I named my cat Storm from X-Men

Uh, I named my cat with my MCR obsession.
Her name is Helena.
Cliche, and possibly stupid, but hey... I like it.

hahaha. My oldest cat - Molly, she'd already been named Polly but we didnt like it so changed one letter! Maisy...well it was between Maisy or Suki but my mum decided she didnt want to hear me squealing "SUKI!" :XD

I named my kitten Aunt Jemima cause, well, I love syrup. (:

Oh, and my fish Motley after Motley Crue. Haha.

My dog was already named Dylan. I like the name, but if it was my choice we would have named him Xander. :tehe: :tehe:

I was trying to name my new brother Zacky...

But my dad hated the name, so I just named the cat it.

My friend and I were on aim. We decided to name my fish Bob Fahad.

My cat, Starbunny (who passed away coming up 2 years ago ) took us about two days. I named her Star to begin with but she had this habbit of bouncing like a rabbit so my brother kept calling her bunny, and the two names just collided. It turned out great :)
Our other cat Maynerd came prenamed, but we nicknamed him Meanies.
My two new cats I named after two of my favorite songs, Helena and Iris.
And our newest cat was also prenamed, Missy.
As for our dogs, we argued about our female sheppard cross for awhile until I came up with Sara who has also been given the affectionate nickname Bear, for she sounds like one. :lol:
Then there's our second dog, Tipper, who was pretty easy to name because of the tip on his tail. Lots of imagination there, huh?
And the last of our animals are my four birds.
I named my first Mohawk as he obvious had a mohawk :P
Then there was Mike who I named after our deceased dog and Mike Dirnt from Green Day. :D
Then my fat baby bird, Chibi, just because he was this big baby and the name felt best suited. And last is Kuro, who I named after the little dude from Cardcaptors which was an awesome TV show I grew up with.

My cat was named Sessan, because she looked like a princess.

I named one of my puppies, Smokey off of Friday because he's chill and he has this gray, smoke color. :]
My poodles name is Nikko because I love Japanese names and it just sounded cute.

(I have like 7 dogs though.)

I was watching Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, and my new puppy was running around my feet, and I just looked at her and thought 'Hermione'.
