Give Me Your Best Criminal Minds Fan Fictions

With the new season of Criminal Minds just around the corner (September 26th), now's the perfect time to partake in Spencer Walter Reid's "Give Me Your Best Criminal Minds Fan Fictions" story writing contest.

In this contest, he simply asks that participants submit Criminal Minds fan fictions (either new or pre-written). With no limits on ratings, genre, or characters used, sky's the limit!

The Afterlife Contest

Angels and ghosts. Dead and undead. Heaven, hell, or somewhere in between. If you're interested in writing about the afterlife, Shiznit's contest - The Afterlife Contest - is perfect for you.

In this contest, Shiznit is accepting stories that explore life after death and the characters affected by it. It can be a story about unfinished business, a dead character reflecting his/her life, a simple haunting, or anything else you can cook up. As long as you DO NOT magically bring the character back to life, anything ideas are welcomed.

Deadline:

October 12, 2012 to submit entries.

Comment Monsters Contest: September 2012

To help with the efforts to spring some commenting life back into Mibba, the Mibba Magazine created the Comment Monsters Contest. In this monthly contest, members are asked to comment as many stories, poems, articles, or journals as they can. At the end of the month, the person who comments the most pieces, is declared the winner!

To join the contest, participants must comment on at least one story of each of the last winners (this month it's little motorkitty; and The Futurist;;) and then create a competing post, like this. To learn more, check out the contest's thread here.
