Mibba Magazine's "Doorway of Possibilities" Contest

As January's the month that starts the new year, the Magazine is hosting a contest that has a truly fitting theme.

Doorway of Possibilities

With the month "January" being derived from Janus, the God of Doorways, this month's contest alludes to it by focusing on something new happening in one's life. Be it a new opportunity, a new experience or even a new trial one has to endure, everything is accepted in the Mibba Magazine's "Doorway of Possibilities" Contest.

The focus of the entry must be on a new occurrence in a character's life - it doesn't matter if it's a good one or a bad one, all are accepted provided that it's clear what the new experience is. The entry can be from a range of different plot devices, such as a new job opportunity opening up, a new experience in the love department or even a bad new experience that leaves a character, such as travelling to another country and discovering firsthand the bad side of a new culture. Anything goes!

There is no word count for users to follow which means that both drabbles and multi-chaptered stories are allowed - as long as it's written specifically for the contest, follows all of Mibba's guidelines and incorporates the theme, it's perfectly acceptable! For those users that would prefer to write poems, they're allowed as well! There are no genre, rating or story type restrictions as the staff would like to allow creative freedom within this contest.
