For many, songs contests are a big hit. They're one of the most popular contest types on Mibba, and there's no wonder why, since many of the songs inspire users greatly. So when there's a song contest that involves a specific fandom that many users enjoy, it's sure to appeal to plenty of users!

ZackyEffingVengeance is hosting an Avenged Sevenfold Song + Slash Contest that requires users to pick a song from the list she provides (all from the band themselves), choose a pairing of their choice and write a story! That's it! Easy, right? Of course, and with no other stipulations, users are artistically free with their entry!

Bands, Bands, and Even More Bands

With the amount of fanfiction on the site, it's not surprising to find many contests that are all about fanfiction. Some contests focus on one band while others involve multiple bands in order to attract more users who would like to enter the contest but don't write about that one band. Bands, Bands and Even More Bands is a contest that allows users who like to write about Motionless in White to enter as well as users who enjoy writing about One Direction.

RyderOMC allows users to enter more than once which means if someone wants to write a oneshot about One Direction and a oneshot about Motionless in White, they are free to do so! Anything goes within the entry which is surely another reason to enter! So what are you waiting for?
