Can I just say that after all the drama I had last night and this morning, this update was just what I needed to bring up my day?
I still want to know who's texting her. I have guesses, obvs, but they're not based off any real evidence. There is no real evidence, after all. Haha.
And John in the endddd, gosh that's exciting. Coffeeeee, makes me anxious for the next chapter. But lawd, what's he going to say to her? I can see this not ending well. Just an inkling.

This story just gets better and better each time it's updated.
The raw edge to the writing is magnificent. The feelings all displayed with a hint of mystery in-between. Now I sound like William Beckett when he talked about This Providence's Who Are You Now? x)
I loved that you wove in John in the end. It worked very well if I do say so myself.
Now I'm uncertain about whose sending her the text messages too like Melanie. I can't see it as being John anymore, but he could be a good actor. Who knows.
It leaves me puzzling and I'll probably be thinking about it for the rest of the night.
Your stories make me think a lot and I like that (:
John was oh so adorable being nervous and shy. It's cute, very cute.
Now I'm excited/anxious to know what's going to happen over coffee between Emelie and John.
How there conversation goes is anyone's guess.
Brilliant (as usual). LOVE YOU. End of my ranting. aha.

Where do I even begin with this comment? This story is incredible!

I love the way your write from Emelie’s perspective. It gives so much insight to her world and mystery to the world around her. The way you worked John slowly into the plot was amazing, too. Instead of just laying everything that John does and is to her in one large chapter, you gave small doses in each chapter. Brilliant! I also want to know more about their relationship! Sure they were friends and she liked him a bit more (or so it seems), but there HAS GOT to be more. :P

I also find the way you worked in some mystery into the plot with the text messages. It really builds up the chapters and suspense as to who’s sending them. But chapter 6 is probably my favourite as of right now. Not only are John and Emelie talking, but you can see how defensive about her condition. You start to feel more connected to Emelie as a person, as well. The conversation between her and Dr. Meyers is something I think anyone would have if they were in her shoes.

“A cow died for your chair, but you don’t seem to mind much. What’s the difference between a cow and me?” Favourite line! I could see misled saying that, too. Haha.

Please update soon, I’m hooked already.

I loved the scene in the therapist's office. The train of thought was so realistic. There are days when I don't want to go see mine and all I can do is think of snide comments the entire session and I have to control myself from screaming them out at him.
I'm loving the story so far.

So, I just started reading this... and I think you're doing an incredible job of portraying an individual suffering from a distorted self-image. Some writers try to put the feelings and the reasoning behind a character's dieting... and it just doesn't seem real at all. This story is heartbreakingly beautiful and I'm loving every word of it.

WHAT THE HELL? Whoever is sending those texts to her is pissing me off.
And way to throw in a curveball by having JohnOhhh show up all cute and nervous and terrified. Now I'm not so sure if it was him sending the texts. Because how could he be able to look at her, talk to her, if he was being that big of a jackass and calling her an 'anorexic whore'?! Either it wasn't him, or the kid's one hell of an actor.
So now we're back to square one, and you have Melanie entirely baffled at who could be being such a dick to her.
I really positively loved this chapter. But it seems like every chapter you write I just keep saying that I love it more than the last or something, so whatever. But I did. I really liked hearing her thoughts while in the therapist's office, because it was all so realistic and true. My mother's made me go see a therapist before and it sucks, if you don't want to go or talk or any of that. And you captured that so well.
    And then, there's John.
He shows up, trying to play nice and be her friend, or at least try to be, as if she'd let him by now, and well, he's adorable. (Big shocker there). I'm really curious as to what he's going to talk to her about. I hope she let's him talk. I hope that he's able to realize that she doesn't want to discuss her weight and he'll just try to be her friend before delving into the deeper stuff of her "current state". Because I really think that before she needs someone to help her with her eating disorder, she needs to have that person to trust and to be with her through all this. And John needs to earn that back, after all they'd gone through.
So, Kaylie, you best let him at least try.
I really want to update for you today. I know I've been saying that for the past like, week, but I'm going to really try. I already worked on some of my work for next week so I'm hoping maybe I can take this break and write a bit more and post super soon for you.
UPDATE THIS AGAIN, as usual <3

I need and want to know who is sending the text and I have a feeling it might be an old friend or John but I hope it's not John.
