• Daiden. I can just see it now! All the little teenie girls going crazy and writing Daiden. It will take over the creative writing sites all over the internet!

October 23rd, 2007 at 04:54am
• There was a few minor mistakes in that last chapter, but dude...

It was fucking awesome. Clap

I loved the way that Aiden is laughing at everything that we humans have strived to create - we've been here for a long time, and we're still not perfect.

Sardonic Grin, you're right - why should we be so depressed when we could be busy laughing at everything that's gone wrong?

• Wow. I love Aiden. I feel so bad for him, but I love him. Jenni, you did an amazing job as usual. I can't wait to read more!

• Jenni, that was pwnage x 25. It was such a perfect start to the story! Plus, the roleplay was fun. xD I think Cassie really does get off on pissing Aiden off.

I love that last paragraph. The whole bit after the argument, actually. I love how he thinks of the Upper East Side and he's so disgusted by it all and then goes "I'm one of them" like...well yeah. its self-loathing.

and I love that last bit "It was laughing at me." You pwn. It's gonna be hard to live up to this when it's my turn.

You know what? I just understood what holds all these kids together--their names are all that "something". Like, people see their last names or who their parents are and just expect something. And our characters can't give it to them. Because the basic struggle is just "I'm not my mom and I'm not my dad."

I feel so cool and analytical.
I love the story, I've loved every chapter thus far. It's brilliant. And I could quote dozens of supporting lines for that if I wasn't so tired right now.

So I'll just put in a piece of con/crit .. sort of ... That there's ^that feeling throughout pretty much all of them of defiance, of over-defensiveness almost. It almost seems cliched the way so many of them have the same thing to say; "I am not him / her".
The cliche-side isn't ...pronounced, though; in fact it comes off as a strong, underlying message, which is a positive. Instead of it being a bunch of stereotypically whingy "No-one understands me" teenagers you've got the thread that ties the characters together. Despite concern about how you'll run the plot between all the children, or point-of-view issues, despite all the insecurity and self-doubt you can see spilling from the corners of the authors' mouths [not talking about within the story, guys; it's great, of course], they are, I guess, all going through the same thing as they grow up. Not growing up itself, but their situations. And the differences are going to arise in how they react to those situations.

Anyway, it'll be interesting to hear the characters when they aren't defending the people they are inside vs the people they are outside, or trying to shred the assumptions of the world, or getting all resentful about their parents as parents / people [rather than pettier annoyances, over specific events/conversations/conflicts].

Looking forward to seeing the plot happening :D Best of luck to the writers.

• Wow... this'll make those "<insertfamouspersonhere> is my dad?!" teenie fic authors think twice.
It's so realistic, you can imagine them saying this, even though they don't exist.
I loved this so much.

• Yeya rocks!
I can't believe you made that on short notice.

Dick is a... dick. :XD I don't know how he can be a compatible best friend for Jared, since they're kinda... opposites, but we'll work it out!

I'm so glad you joined. :tehe:

• I loved each and every chapter, every description was truly believable and to have so many good writers in one place is such a treat.

I can't wait for more and to see how this story develops.

well done everyone involved.

• Still amazing...

• Dude, these characters, they're amazing, and awesome, and just fucking brilliant.

Feel proud, I am giving you praise here.

Even though they're all the spawn of celebrities we all know and love♥, I can relate to some of them.

Even though I'm not that rich, I don't have instruments thrust upon me by an over-enthusiastic father, and I'm not all that into drugs/alcohol, I really can relate.

And that's why this is such an awesome story.

More soon??

• He’ll be ecstatic when I come home with a good report and no Chlamydia. His face will plainly say “thank god you’re not a whore like your mother” and he will clap me on the back while shoving me towards my bass.

:lmfao

Awesome job. We really needed another male figure here.

I should grow up as Pete Wentz Jr. in a band called Fall In Male.

This pwned me. :cheese: :lmfao

This wasn't a review. This was just me laughing my ass off and having fun.

Chels, you pwn with that review. In Love
