Oh my god, i love this <3

Aww, the ending was so bittersweet! I close to never pay attention to the Canucks and what they do, but I adore Alex Burrows, I thought this was a great read. :) ~Anya.

i am in love with this story!!!!! I couldn't stop reading!!! I started reading "Second chance" and I can't wait for more! PLEASE update that story!!! I'm dying to find out what happends!( I would have commented on there, but for some reason it won't let me! =( )

It is 10 to 2 in the morning and I have to work at 8am but what am I doing? Rereading this story of course :) For some reason, I can't sleep and whenever I can't sleep I reread this story. I just enjoy and love it that much. You are probably sick of my comments but I love the characterization and the descriptions in this story. It is a favourite of mine for sure for sure. And as long as my iPod is still functioning and I have Internet and this story is posted on mibba, I'm sure that if the time comes again when I can't sleep I will reread Cabin Fever and love it every time. Each time I find new things to love about it :) Well I should probably try and sleep now. Gotta be up in 4.5 hours or so. Thanks for writing this wonderfulness. <3 Kes.

So I just read this story.
I stumbled across it and was like 'hmm, alexandre burrows, lets go and read it.'

Just--wow. The writing is so--well its really quite beautiful the way you describe and illustrate things, and I love the way this entire story flows together.

I was simply captivated whilst reading it, it was extremley well-written and just kept me guessing if it would have a happy ending or not.

Just all the conflict between her and Alexandre--and all the feelings and emotions--you could tell it ran very deep, and it felt like I was there, watching this drama unfold between the two.

In lack of better words--I simply loved it. Loved every second spent reading it, and I'm so happy I stumbled across this story.

Now to go check out the sequel due to the fact how it ended...*sigh* I mean, argh! I'm really rooting for them to get together...like really really REALLY rooting for them.

Keep up the amazing work!

This was amazing! The way you wrote it was awesome. I felt like I was watching first hand the story unfold. I can't wait for the sequel!!

I just want to say thank you because I don't think I ever did in any of my comments :D Soooo thank youuuu for writing this amazingness and writing it for me. I loved it oh so very much and cannot wait for the sequel. Even though I know you will be just as evil about it - you know, not telling me things or taking forever to update hahaha. Also, you should know that I re-read this story quite frequently, like on my ipod at work during my half hour (or so) break. Soooo please continue this fantabulous story soon!

Man, this series...

Okay, first off, I love the comparison of Alex to a black hole. From her point of view, I don't think you could have compared him to anything better. It's just accurate. He's sucking the life out of her and she's in a mental state of both confusion and anger. Or I'm just too much of a mental dhvccxbs and I'm reading way too into it. : 'D Regardless, I love it.

It really isn't him that I hate or what he did to me; it's the aftermath that I can't stand. The self doubt and the way I've acted in the time since then. It's either I can trust a guy or I trust him far too much which is just as bad, if not worse.

I really like this little chunk. I think it applies to anyone who's ever had male issues or generally just trust issues in the past. Nice wording.

Yeah, sure Alex, if you'd like to wind up horizontal again.

Wow, that was great. That entire series just plain rocked my socks. You did a magnificent job. EVery shred of emotion you described and put into this is magnificently done. Fantastic job and I can't wait for the sequel!

I just have to say, the end of this story was kind of the complete opposite of what I was expecting. I'm really interested to see what you come up with for the sequel!

While its sad that this is over, it is excellent to see that there is a sequel and I'm stoked for that. So yay! :D

Aw, not moving so he's sleeping awkwardly to make sure that it is comfortable for her. Aw. Was not a dream, nope nope but it certainly had that quality to it -- being sleepy and content in his arms.

Of course you think it was a mistake just cause nothing really got resolved... well what do you expect at like 2.30 in the morning? Sleepiness wins. Okay... digressing here.

Oh that's always good -- using the kid so they can't really blow up at each other. Good job guys haha. But totally understandable that although she is taking it out on him, she doesn't blame him anymore. He's just changed her and she doesn't like that. For some reason, I think having Ryan as one of your best friends would be freaking awesome. Don't mind me. I feel that way about some hockey players hahaha.

So, I love the way she fights with herself over Alex. To let him in or not to let him in? You write her stubbornness perfectly. Oh, and the whole scene with him holding her hand and telling her its okay to be afraid? Yeah, made me giggle like an idiot. That was perfect and adorable.

It's like as much as I hate sequences like these, I love them too. You write these little parts SO WELL.

“I made a mess,” he whispered softly, his lips in my hair.

You could say that again.

“I'm sorry Lauren. I was afraid.”

Bullshit.

I loved this. This is such a great story. <3
