I feel very badly for Jordan. To work so hard to rehab the foot, and then to be sooo close to coming back and have the hand broken in practice - it just doesnt seem fair. I am glad that he has Athena there to help him through this.

I know Jordan is "loopy", but I believe he meant everything he said. He does feel like he is losing Athena, because in the past, she has been there for him whenever he needed her. She used to drop everything - and everyone - to help Jordan. She puts his feelings ahead of her own.

But lately, Athena has had Sidney. The photos at the apartment, the jersey, and the fact they are living together irritate Jordan no end. But when he needs her the most, Athena, like a good friend, drops everything - and everyone - and is there for him.

Jordan says he loves her. And I think he thinks he does. But what he has to realize that to love her does not mean to control her.

And I think Athena really cares about Jordan. They have shared so much growing up. But I think Athena has continued to grow in the past 6 months - and has started to become her own person - making her own decisions and taking responsibility for her own actions. I dont think Jordan can say the same.

It will be interesting how Athena deals with Sidney after she ditched him for Jordan.

I see what you're trying to do and it will not work! TEAM SID. I feel for Jordan but either way someone is going to get hurt in this scenario. I'm not saying I prefer Jordan to hurt over Sid, it's just that Sid is better for her, in my opinion. They could/would be so happy together. Jordan and his family and just upsetting her and complicating things by trying to make this Jordan thing happen. Jordan doesn't deserve her man. My heart goes out to him but no. Team Sid.

Poor Jordan! I really want to give him a hug now - but I really thought he was going to blurt out his feelings for her while he was drugged up. It might still happen I guess, so I'll have to wait and see, but I definitely loved this chapter; it showed a lot of how close they were and how much Jordan thinks of her! Wonderful job!

First of all - Thanks, "Big City". Love you, too! But I dont know if I am right - it is just how I interpret things.

As for Jordan, I think he is treating Athena the way he has in the past. He is upset that she is involved with Sidney - but more than that, I think he is upset that she seems happy with Sid. He did not like the photos - especially the one of Sid and Athena kissing. Nor did he seem really happy about her wearing Sid's jersey. It is almost like it is more evidence that she is slipping away from him.

As for the white lie, I think there may be two - I think Jordan fibbed when he took Athena down to the locker room before the game. I am not sure if he had to "get something", but I am pretty sure that Athena made it clear she did not want to see the locker room at this time. She knows how superstitious Sid is and she does not want to interfere with his "routines". I almost think Jordan wanted her in there to upset Sid.

The other white lie may be Athena's - Tanya had told her that Jordan has feelings for her and that is the source of conflict between Sid and Jordan. Athena keeps asking Jordan what the problem is...when in reality she already knows. She just needs to hear Jordan say it.

But again, Jordan seems to be thinking about his own feelings and not those of Athena. But I notice she is starting to call him on his crap. Hopefully she is feeling more secure in who she is, so that she can address any issues with Jordan - and with Sid for that matter - openly and honestly.

Dammit. This story totally makes me forget about the trade..... I'm seriously undecided on who to be sides on.... I keep flip-flopping. UPDATES ARE GREAT! ;)

I think Sid would have liked to see here but what do I know! I really am completely dedicated to Team Sid and I'm glad this chapter showed them in a more positive light. It was pretty one sided there for awhile girl. Breaking my heart. Lol! Can't wait for more!

Now I have to go and reread it so I can find that white lie. Haha. Great update, by the way! I honestly have to say that I love her with Sid but there's something about Jordan that makes me think they'd be good together. I dunno. But I do know that i can't wait for more!

I agree with cassierightmyer - Jordan is definitely starting to get his act together, and hopefully now he'll just act on it! It seems to me he's always been afraid of having feelings for her, but at the same time he can't handle her having feelings for someone else. Athena really needs to just decide for herself, but with the way Jordan's starting to act I'm definitely Team Jordan all the way!

Athena has to make her own decision. Pssh I definitely want to hit someone with a stick, Jordan or Tanya or someone. Let the girl live people!!!!!
