I agree with miss Synful Shadows. I think her plan might backfire, because it seems so dangerous! I just hope poor Mattie doesn't have to die. I want Evangeline to end up with Brian, but I still don't want Matt to die. Anyways, great update! I loved it :D

Well, she's definitely got some guts. I'm kind of worried her deal might backfire because she's only thinking about ending the marriage with Matthew. :/ I suppose she's smart enough to not let it though. Her father and Matthew will put up one hell of a fight though. Great update! :D

So comment swap took me here, and I read the first three chapters so far and I really enjoy it, despite the fact that I don't really follow the fandom. :) I like how the servant is the one truly in love with the princess, and how it seems that though maybe she feels something for him, she doesn't realize those feelings completely yet. I like your word choice and the way you switch POVs, because I enjoy knowing what both characters are thinking in that way. I think once I'm not so busy I'll go on and read the rest of this story and keep up with further chapters :) Definitely rec'd!

I absolutely adore your story! It's so different from other Matt/Brian stories. I personally don't know who to root for! I think she should give Matt chance, but Brian is just so sweet! I can't wait to see how this story progresses :)

This idea is unique in the right that I haven't read a fanfiction about someone in a different position than real life... I mean I know they exist and I have read the arranged marriage type stories. It kinda reminds me of Romeo & Juliet, the fact that she's expected, by her dad to marry a man she doesn't love and Brian loves her. I love Avenged Sevenfold as well. I've only read chapters 1, 2, and part of 3. I like it. (: (And yes I was brought here by comment swap) :)

Yay she's back home with Brian...!! So cute that he thought of a nickname for her, Eva.. And damn her dad for wanting to see her, totally ruined the moment.. lmao

Anyways, I read chapter 12.

What bothered me most was the layout. The gray letters are about 5 shades too dark. There were a few spelling and grammar errors, and I often thought your descriptions were stiff and cliche.

That being said, I really like your idea for the story. You play off the "forbidden love" theme well, and your action flows nicely. I also really like your banner and description. But what I love most is the way your characters talk. Well done!

Brian's probably going to let the whole Matthew having saved her thing bug him for a while. Even if he doesn't show it to her, I'm sure it'll be in the back of his mind. I'm just scared he won't handle it well. But I thought the nickname for her was cute. ^.^ I just freaking love him and how adorable he is. I'm curious as to the reason for her father wanting to speak to her though. I'm a little scared that it's bad news. Great update! :D

Another comment swapper here, hello! The summary, to me, didn't really reflect your writing style as evidenced by going further. Just something about it seemed different, not quite sure what. As everything got going, though, your writing smoothed out and was very intriguing. Matt seems charming, but Brian just holds more... sweetness, in my opinion. I get that Evangeline is a princess and therefore should be with Matt, but he doesn't know her as well. I think you have a very clear sense of who your characters are and I love the layout, so best of luck moving forward with this =)

I think this idea is really very interesting and the summary tells enough without giving too much away, a good thing that keeps us interested in actually reading the story. And, I am Team Brian. Just throwing that out there, even though Matt seems nice enough. You have a good thing going so keep it up! :)

Hiya! I really like this! When I read your summary, I wasn't too sure that I would like it. I'm not sure what it was, perhaps that it doesn't flow as easily as anticipated - either way, my view on the rest of they story was not tainted! The level of description is perfect, not too much nor too little. I also really like your characterisation - it's fantastic! upon reaching the final chapter - I've decided that Evangeline should be with Brian and that's that! xx
