    Troy certainly has issues - and Sid seemed to hit the main nerve to set everything off.

    Would it be too far off to suggest that Troy blames Sid for being the reason that Troy never "succeeded" as a hockey star? That he had to quit and get married because he had gotten a girl pregnant? And then he would be damned if he was going to let history repeat itself and have Sid turn his back on his hockey career. But how could he kick his own son when he was down - both figuratively and literally!!

    I feel badly that Trina was not able to really meet her granddaughter. I know she wants to do the right thing by Peyton.

    Wow - so glad to get this update notification! I always loved this story.

    And I think I am still on record saying that it was Troy who paid for the private school that Peyton attended and the fees for her select hockey team.

    I am pretty sure Troy knew all about Aurora being pregnant from the beginning and gave her money to stay away from Sid, rationalizing it that he was giving the money to her for Peyton's benefit. To ensure that Peyton had a good life.

    And while Troy knew, it would be pretty surprising if Trina knew and didn't say anything. I would think that she would want an active role in her grandchildren's lives. And would probably have read Sid the riot act on the way he behaved towards Aurora.
