    It is apparent that Sidney has a lot to make up for - it is just will Aurora let him?

    There is such a big chunk of Aurora's story that Sidney has to learn and what he may learn may make him feel even worse about himself. Which he probably should.

    He does need to show that, no matter what happened in the past, he is willing to make amends and move forward in repairing the relationship with his daughter - and her mother.

    I agree with @love71or87 - I have a feeling that Troy has something to do with the money - that maybe he is paying money to Aurora for Peyton's support, to keep her away from Sidney.

    This story has the potential to turn out two ways. a) happy ending b) not so happy. Maybe you could experiment with the latter. It makes the story more interesting.
