Okay, first impression was "Wow I've never read a circus story before!"
Then I was like "Man, Dimitri sounds hot" but then realized that's probably why Mal hates him so much because he knows how hot he is. He's definitely at man whore to the nth power.
I feel that Cara and Mal's relationship is not healthy (once you get past Mal using her to strike Dimitri down). I think her motherly-figure persona is just a ruse but its easy for her to trick Cara because she may have some type of attachment disorder?
I think this story is superbly written and you can't even tell that its co-written, everything just flows together so well and its amazing.

We will definitely keep it going as long as we get wonderful comments like yours! Cara's subconscious does have a lot to hide, too.

I can't even express how much I love this, how hooked I am. I know Cara believes it was a bad trip, but I'm not sure that dream wasn't her subconscious... Maybe backing out of the original plan? And these people gossip like high school girls. Haha! Keep it up, ladies!!!! This is my new favorite story.

Malory believes in using men as they use women, so this explains your confusion of her being a guy. I have to say I am loving that everyone loves her evilness :) its definitely been fun to write@ alexander bernadotte

hello!! like i said when commenting on underestimate me, i really like the layout. this one kinda reminds me of erin morgenstern's the night circus, especially when you mention the circus in the summary. c: oh, and speaking of the summary, HOLY SHIT. i'm so curious to know what happens next, omg??

chapter 1: well, sex is one way to start a chapter, lol. props for not making it too porny! anyways, i like cara, but i'm not too sure about dmitri yet. i'm starting to think i might like him, but he seems a bit douchy to me, lol. but wow, the end of the chapter -- doesn't seem that anything good just went on. yikes. wonder what happened?!

chapter 2: for a second, i thought malory was a man; idk why. anyways, i like malory bc of his insidious and sort of cruel she is. i like this look at her character and i can't wait to see more of her and cara and of course, dmitri. (:

i hate to have to cut this comment short, but so far, i really enjoyed this story. i'll def. be back to read more of it! great job. :D

That is more than high praise, and I love you for it. I'm glad you like the background @ Alex Moore. worked really hard on it! You'll have to keep reading to see how fiery Cara can get; Malory, :) Well, you have no idea how manipulative she really is. <3.

I hate commenting on the layout first because I feel really shallow, but I’ll do it this one time haha. I LOVE THE LAYOUT. Especially when you scroll down and it’s all white and red stripe, and it really feels like a circus background!
Onto the characters lol. Cara seems like a young, beautiful, ballerina-ish type of character with street smarts. Does her playing with fire symbolize a fiery personality? She seems like the most likeable of the three main characters. Malory seems patronizing; she’s definitely the type to be envious because of her insecurity, but she makes up for it with intelligence. And Dmitri… they seem to hate him because he’s a sexy bastard lol. Hope he doesn't get murdered.

I've read other works from both of you and I have to say that I've always been impressed by the attention to detail and the metaphors. I love both characters, but Cara reminds me more if myself so I think I like her more. Lol.

I too suspect that they are planning to kill Dmitri and I want to know why. I know all will be revealed in time and that I'm going to devour every word of every chapter <3

I'm trying to stick to the weekly updates, although I could be persuaded to sneak in a new chapter for the right price.

Again I can't wait to see where you bring this. This chapter just further fuels my thoughts that Malory and Cara are plotting to kill Dmitri. I just don't quite understand why yet. I'm sure that will come clear soon though.

The descriptions are so amazing, I definitely like the developing feel of Cara's character and point of view. It's great.

"In his hands she felt like a lion, jumping through his hoops, as long as she got her treat." This sentence is epic. My favorite of the whole chapter.
