Poor James, I hope he's starting to understand that he doesn't have to do everything by himself and it's ok to have feelings...ALL kinds of feelings. Glad Roman took the time to come over and see him.
Sorry to be late with the comments again -- I wanted to really think them through. It didn't happen, so sorry --you're stuck with more rambling.
Poor James, the Christmas of firsts. At least he survived. And didn't burn the cookies or himself! I agree with Jimothy, too -- it IS exhausting to read about his physical and especially mental exhaustion. Wow. I hope he got through the rest of the day, once he was home and Peyton was asleep...
Just so you know, at the end of this story I'm sending you a bill for all the tissues you are making me go through. And therapy. Those bills are expensive.
The note she left James was beautiful! I'm also glad Jimbo chicken legs didn't burn the place down. I will say that James thinking about everything made me tired. It's like he ran a marathon and I got tired watching him. Poor guy needs sleep.
And don't get me started on the James/Carson thing. You're making my black heart pinken. It's probably neon pink at this point because SO MANY FEELS! But really, that was very sweet of James to talk to him and help him out.
Anyway, Noah having a tantrum made me laugh for some reason. Probably because I pictured a toddler and mom looking distressed, both wondering who hates life more at the moment. Hopefully he didn't find out that Santa isn't real. He would definitely be hating life then.
PS. I'm sad that Shea or Pekka didn't dress up as Santa.
Sorry I couldn't comment sooner -- busy weekend! I agree that I'm proud of James for going through Quinn's room and things. And AMEN for that perfume bottle in the back of the closet!
But being more than halfway done...no way, I'm not ok with that at all...unless of course you have another James story up your sleeve!!
