Also, poor James. So many emotions. He needs to deal with some of that. He must have been just devastated when he realized that he smashed that perfume -- smelling it is one thing, but being without it altogether might be worse. It's just heartbreaking.
I'm afraid my husband is going to catch me crying one if these times! It was great to see Mark and Tina -- and them not be monsters. It was also good to see James able to talk about Quinn a little bit. But the end (I feel like a broken record! You're sneaky!) -- holy cow. Rip my heart out!
The pain in James' mourning is so real. So often I'm just at a loss for words. Nothing I write would match the emotion of the story you're painting. So well done!!
Aww, look at Pekka be in the wise owl. After Pekka brought up the hair salon thing, I totally thought James was going to apologize to Pekka for how ugly/funny loooing Pekka was going to look with basically no hair. I mean, just imagine it.
Fine = freaked out. Insecure. Neurotic. Emotional. Yeah, I took that from the Italian Job. What are you going to do about it? Huh? Huh? HUH?!
Poor James...he needs to understand that it's ok to feel all of the things he's feeling -- even the painful ones he's trying to suppress. That ending was so sad...
At least Pekka is trying to get him out of his shell (more like bunker or foxhole). Hopefully seeing how the team supports the fundraiser at Quinn's salon will help him open up a bit.
This chapter was interesting -- still some sad parts (my heart just broke for James thinking about his summer), but some...I don't know, "regular" parts, too. Kind of like James' life, I guess...he's starting to deal better with his grief (which is good!). Glad he's seeing some of his old friends again. Will he talk to the Pens when they're in town? You know he and Geno would get together at some point...
Poor Snoop, he always seems to make Peyton cry. I feel bad for him, too!
I love Halloween, too. Candy. So much candy. Yay!!
Those costumes were friggin adorable! OK, I understand Riley's reasoning for twins, but she's definitely crazy.
And please, we know once James sees a gray hair he will dye it.
Should I be surprised that James was embellishing actions when playing with Noah? Just kidding, I just really needed to throw that in there. But Noah building the nets out of blocks is jsjdjsfjdj. No words
I'm glad you showed this flashback. As before, I'm understand both sides to this and either way it's not an easy thing to tell someone/hear from someone.
Holy cow. That was tough. I still don't know how you can write that heavy stuff (and so well). It was good to see her side, though. Very hard but good to know. Now you'd better post that cute Halloween one soon so we (ok, I) stop crying!!
