Fate Gave Me Another Chance
“Get back here!” Growled the deep daunting voice.
The hot oozing liquid kept trickling its way down my face; my head was throbbing, my wrists stung and my legs couldn’t take it any longer. I kept running; rushing into the woods, even though my legs were exhausted. I didn’t know where I was going, but at least it was far away from that place.
“You know we’re going to find you,” yelled the chilling enraged voice.
They were close.
Images of what they would do to me kept rushing through my head. I hadn’t realized that I had stopped running until I heard a branch snap. I looked behind me but no one was there, but I knew better then to trust my senses.
