Nightmare

Today will be a new start, a new beginning and the end to a past. I will put everything behind me and live, I survived it all and now it’s time to live. Time to let the future in and force the past out. I’ll never forget but that doesn’t mean I can’t try, can’t try to make the nightmares go away, to make the images be forgotten. I was strong enough to see them; I’m strong enough to make them go away. I am a survivor.
