Shanon, a 13-year old physic, has what seems like the perfect first day of 8th grade. But than everything goes cascading down when someone impersonates her principal, and attacks her closest friend.

Then, something else she changes her life completely! She discovers that her name isn't Shanon, she's not human, and that she is adopted. To top it off her actual family is NEVER coming back!
