Mercedes is originally from Spain but 5 years ago her dad got a job in Los Angeles so they moved and bought a house there. They are a rich family. Her dad is an accountant and her mum is a publicist to celebrities and travels the world.
Mercedes has done a lot of things she's not proud of in the past.
It gets worse when she gets sent to a boarding school away from her family.
