Twenty-nine year-old Adrienne Nesser is a writer for RockFan, one of Minnesota's best underground magazines. After a personal loss, Adrienne's boss, Tim, surprises her with probably the biggest interview of her career. Green Day is just about to release American Idiot, and with their fond memories of touring in Minnesota in their early days, they readily agree to Tim's offer. When Adrienne sits down with the punk rock boys, her eyes lock with the lead singer's, and they both can't seem to forget each other.
