What is the Suggestion forum?
The Suggestion forum is a place for Mibbians to share ideas on ways to improve the site. Any Mibbian can start a thread to share a new idea and all Mibbians are encouraged to join in on the discussions to help fine-tune those ideas.
What should I do if I have a suggestion to share?
First check this list to see if your idea (or one similar to it) has already been suggested. If it has, please don't create another thread; if you'd like to share your thoughts on that idea, you can simply add a post to the existing thread.
If your idea has not been suggested already, then you can start a new thread. When starting your thread, please remember these three things...
1. Title: Give your thread a title that is short, simple, and to the point. Be sure that the title clearly represents what your idea is. For example, if your idea is to add a blog rating system, the best title would be “Blog Rating System.”
2. Content: Remember to clearly state your suggestion. You should also explain your idea, how you think it can be done, and the benefits you think it may reap. Try to put as much useful information into your first post as you can. The better members (and staff) can understand your suggestion, the more likely they are to lend you their opinions (or support) and possibly help you work out more of its details.
3. Discussion: Also remember that Suggestion threads are discussion threads. Once you post your idea, members of Mibba are able to view and comment on it. Interact and respond to the people commenting on your thread. Answer their questions and take into account their concerns. Use member feedback to make your idea better. The best ideas are ones that are fully formed; ideas in which all the possible cons have been addressed and worked.
