Tom Waits came on the radio the other day and I instantly thought of this story (Well, to be honest, I think of this story every time I listen to Tom Waits because it's the reason I know of him!) I loved your story and would love it even more if you ever decided to update again! It was very well written and had such a great story to tell!

Hmm... I'm not too fond of the actual plot of this story because I don't like That 70's Show and I hate The Time Traveler's Wife.
But based on your writing, you did a good job. I really like your detail and descriptions.

I totally agree with Caitlynn in that I usually feel for Kitty, but with this latest chapter you made me feel for Tom too. Beneath that cool exterior, he is blatantly a cuddly ol' bear. Which is exactly how I always think of him, for some reason. Haha.

Like St_Atrocity, my favourite part was the last paragraph because even though Tom was 'sleeping around', so to speak, you explained why he did it and it just made me feel more sympathy for him. Which is pretty darn amazing because I normally abhor people like that.

I can't wait to see what happens next. I eagerly await the next update! Good luck for the ACT, darling; I'm sure you'll do fab.

Hey, guys, I just wanted to let ya'll know that this story IS still active, and that I am working on it. I have my ACT exam two Saturdays from now, and as soon as that's over, things in my life will hopefully slow down and I can pick this back up.

You are a great writer! and this is original (in it's story line), I love reading it! Thanks for writing this! Can't wait for more.

I've read the first four chapters of this so far, and I have to say that I'm hooked - I've been hooked from chapter one, actually. I'm no Tom Waits expert, but from the little I know of him and what I've heard of his music, you've given him a personality that's so realistic, I think you've got it nailed. Kitty shines as well, and I find her to be a very likeable character. I can't wait to read on and learn more about them, and see where the plot goes. That's another thing I like, you didn't just wright a story and set it in the 70's - you've got a character that's actually from our time, a unique twist, and I'm excited to see where it goes. And speaking of the 70's, you've captured the feel of the decade so well, you'd think that you've done some time travelling yourself. I know I'm going to enjoy reading the rest of this story.

Good lord, girl, I am ADDICTED to this story. I don't even know who Tom Waits is, other than knowing he played Mr. Nick in Imaginarium, but now I'm like... Tom Waits.

I love the way you portray Kitty's emotions. They're very realistic, not too girly and weak, but not that overly-independent girl, either. Just walking the line, and I love it.

So I just came online for a little light reading and realized I've never really read your stories. Which is ridiculous considering how much I loved your play.
