Be careful on your vs you're and using apostrophes correctly. You only need to use an apostrophe when you're making something possessive.

Dear Jimmy,

Welcome to live with a newborn =). Kiss your sleep goodbye for the first about three to four weeks.

I like that you're keeping that element of realism in this. Some stories think babies sleep all night almost from the start (which can happen, but it's rare), and so I like that Harley is a normal baby. I also like the reactions of Jimmy and Leana to these late nights; no doubt, they're ready for a break. It might be neat to see if someone can come watch the baby for them for a couple of hours one night so they can either sleep or go out.

I'm beginning to believe people that get piercings are closet masochists. I've got several in each each and when my brush gets caught in more than one ring at a time and pulls, I have no restraint haha.
This was cute, I'm glad he stood up to her and that she's finally cooling off a bit.
It's good to see them bonding :D
Though I'm thinking shit's going to hit the fan, she mood swapped pretty quickly.

The question here is: is all as it seems? That's quite a sudden turn around for Owen's mom. He stood up to her and now she's cool with things that previously bothered her? She's either being truthful or she's putting on quite an act. I'm not 100% convinced that this isn't all an act.

Well done, though. While I myself don't have kids, I have friends who do and they all say those first weeks with the newborn at home aren't a lot of fun. I recall my friend's now-husband (then boyfriend) sitting on their bed, then flopping over, sound asleep =).

That's the way Owen, make your mum angry all the more :D

We all have that chapter we don't feel =). My latest story has had a couple of clunkers (in my estimation, at least).

Can't wait to see how Owen's mom rings his neck for the snakebites; I'd like to see him stand up to her! I think if he stood up to her, she'd back down a bit, realize he's able to make his own decisions and let him be for a bit.

The chapter was definitely interesting. However, a few points, if you're calling Jimmy 'his Dad' then don't capitalize 'Dad', because you're not really using it as a formal title at that moment.

Also, I still don't think Jimmy needed to give his kid a unique name, andddd Harley is a girl name, not a boy name. Yeah, it's a motorcycle, but I've never heard of a guy being named it. It's also the name of a female Batman villain. When people hear 'Harley Sullivan', they'll probably think the kid is a girl.

Come on Leana, Reverend Junior is completely reasonable! :D

This chapter was pretty good. However, I will point out that they say 'my water broke' and not 'waters'. Also, considering they're in an American hospital, the baby's probably going to be described as about 23 and a half inches long. I'm pretty sure they don't do centimeters since America doesn't really do the metric system. xD Which we totally should, but that's a totally different argument.

I'm not actually sure if Jimmy would want to name his kid something unusual, actually, 'cause he never really seemed bothered with his real name. He called himself Jimmy all the time. But other than that, his reactions were adorable.

Any woman who has had a baby is now envious of Leana =). Most women labor for a good few hours (thought some don't know they are in labor right away) and can push for up to an hour. However, every baby arrives on their own terms, so it's entirely plausible what you wrote =). I just won't tell my pregnant friends and sister how easy Leana had it ;)

Oh, and was the baby nine pounds? You wrote ounces...in which case the baby would be about the size of your finger and likely not survive...yipes.

But I did like this update. Jimmy's daddy, I love the name, and I can't wait to see what he does when the reality of having a baby sinks in. You know, the sleepless nights, etc. Oh, and diapers. They don't smell until the kid gets onto solid food, around 5-6 months, but when they do start to smell...oy vey.

Bleagh, i hate shopping so i know Jimmy's pain haha.
Now i want mexican food and im not going to get any :(
