28 weeks (what Leana is at), isn't bad, but she should probably wait until the baby is closer to full term (36 weeks) before giving birth, because size isn't a huge issue, development is and the fetus is still fine tuning everything internally at this point and actually shouldn't be bulking up weight until 36-40 weeks.

I do like this chapter though, although you once again had a little bit of issues with your vs you're.

Hopefully the baby won't come two months early. If the baby is that big, it's possible the due date is wrong; otherwise, no matter the size, the baby isn't ready to come two months early and will face time in the NICU until the lungs are ready to work, etc. I'd have the doctor re-check the date of her last period, time of conception, etc., and make sure it's all correct.

Going to be interesting to see what Jimmy does with a baby =)

I liked this chapter.

I think it was very gutsty of Jimmy to meet Owen outside the house...though it would've been interesting had Owen's mom come out.

It's good that Jimmy is so protective over his son. I thought it was amusing, too, that he hates the neighborhood he lives in =). It'll be interesting to see if Jimmy ever meets his old flame and to see what he'd say to her; I bet it won't be veyr nice.

All parents react in the heat of the moment (as we all do, I think), so I don't think she meant to hurt him. But the fact stands that she did. And he's right, he is old enough to make his own decisions and if he's mature enough to find his dad, he's mature to know about him and meet him. I think it's wrong of her to have kept Jimmy from Owen for so many years; naming her child Owen means she's got fewer regrets than she thinks.

Hormones will do that to you and I feel bad for Owen. Also, be careful with a few things. You had a couple errors, but one of them I think was just typing too quickly 'lsot' instead of 'lost'. You then confused 'you're' with 'your', but I really am enjoying this story and I'm definitely looking forward to some more Jimmy and Owen interaction.
