Anywhoo, this is a great chapter!! I can't wait to see what Carrie has up her sleeve to stop the meeting on Friday from happening!! But until then... ^_^

I just found this story and I read through it, but I am having some problems with some of the things.

The first problem I have is with his schooling and that's that as he's 15, he's maybe a sophomore in high school. Then again, he's also just taking way too many classes since you have him in 9 classes and in high school, you can only physically take 7. Also, I'm having trouble wrapping my mind around that since I'm a junior in university and I don't write papers that broad or that complex. What kind of school is he going to where he's writing an essay like that at fifteen?

Secondly, your characterization of Brian Haner jr was confusing. I'm not really sure why you think Brian grew up rich, since Brian's father only really got into the music industry on his own recently. Were they middle class? More than likely, but rich? Highly doubtful, especially since if they were rich, he would have definitely had Jimmy living with him, which wouldn't explain why Jimmy was living in a laundromat for awhile.

So while I am very interested in the story because it's decently written and the characters are interesting, some of your story just doesn't make sense.

I'm glad Owen is finally standing up to his mother. She had no right to go into his room like that and read that letter. He's got every right to know who his dad is and meet with him and I hope he does just that. Perhaps Jimmy can set Carrie straight and get her to realize that Owen is his, too, and he needs to know his son!

But i have a feeling his mother is going to show up and make a scene and ruin it for both of them.
