AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!! I'm going to kill Darius! How dare he! And to think I thought he was nice. Obviously I'm wrong. He better not lock her in the basement... how creepy.
@ January Rose Darius, ofcourse, is not pleased and wants Elise all to himself. There have been little hints about his love for her. So all I can say as of now is that SHIT IS ABOUT TO GO DOWN!!!
OH MY GOSH... he proposed!!!! When I read that I let out a little holler of joy, and my sister (who happened to be in the room) looked at me funnily. But I didn't care. Oh my gosh... I'm so happy for Elise and George! They deserve every happiness in the world! I really hope Darius doesn't wreck their relationship...
@ January Rose Oh thanks, yeah I really don't want the story to drag on. I usually get bored of writing if I feel my story isn't coming to an end. Don't want that. THAT IS A REALLY GOOD GUESS!!! But I'm not gonna say nothing...though a wedding ring is involved in the near future. Might be from Darius, who knows :/ updating soon
I liked how you skipped 11 months into the future but summed up what happened in a few paragraphs.I have really no idea what Darius what's with her... hopefully something that doesn't involve a wedding ring...?
@ Call_me_Dot Hm, that is a good question. I want to keep him as mysterious as possible, confusing even. To sum him up, his devious, contradictory, evil and at the same time good. I mean, one second his bowing down at a peasant (Albert in the earlier chapter), and the next he is speaking so lowly of them. He has done so many good deeds and evidently everyone around him speaks so highly of him. Grace is pleased to have him as her master. I can't really give you a proper answer, but it will be coming up in the future and his pride has nothing to do with his kindness. He doesn't have much pride for a nobleman. If he did, he probably would be like Count D'Aubigne. Sorry for the rant. May have gotten a little carried away.
@ January Rose Oh, trust me, things are about to get really interesting. Well, not yet yet...but in the near future. The threat was most definitely not an empty one.
I'm glad Darius got Gwen back, even though he had to threaten Gwen. And I really hope that the Count's threat was empty, because if it wasn't... that would suck.
Man.. Gwen needs to listen to her older sister before she gets hurt. I kind-of do hate her because she is being so stubborn and the way she talked to his older sister was very rude and mean. And to think that Elise gave up her innocence for nothing!
