Adelade Mark had everything. Wealth, beauty, friends, music. She had everything going for her, too. She was graduating top-of-the-class that year, and she planned on following her father's footsteps into the music industry. He did, after all, own Adelade Music Inc., named after her of course.

Then one night, her best friend, Spencer-Stacey (yes, that's only the girl's first name! Though she usually only goes by either Spence or Stace), holds a party. One wrong decision ends Adelade in arms of the wrong boy, and by the end of the night, Adelade's innocence is gone; in every way.

The next morning, Adelade finds an angel in her window. She knows him. She listens to him, but she isn't actually listening. Everything he tells her is wrong seems so right to her. Her whole world comes crashing down.

When her addiction becomes to much, she runs away. Her angel follows, beckoning her back home. Who is this angel? His name is Casey, and Adelade saw him die.
