Just Friends?

Kaili is the type of girl who keeps to herself ever since she was little, she has had a fascination with wolves. As a kid, her father would always take her to the La Push bonfires that the elders held, just so she could listen to all the stories about the shape shifters and the cold ones. When she was seven years old, her father was found dead, and they never found the killer. The only evidence they had was a bite mark on his left wrist, and three sets of bare footprints leading away from the scene of the crime. Her best friend Paul has always had a really bad temper, but lately it has been getting worse, and then after one really rough night, he stopped hanging out with her altogether.
Paul has always been best friends with Kaili since they were both in diapers. Recently he has been going through some major changes, which make him dangerous to be around Kaili. He always though of Kaili more like a sister, but with these physical changes that hes going through he also is experiencing an emotional one. Are they just friends, or could it be something more?
