Michael James Way was a loner, and he liked it that way. He cut himself off from the world of people and lives in solitary. The only person that ever talks to him is his older brother, Gerard, or his Dad when he needs to shout. Michael, also knows as Mikey, doesn’t make friends for the fear of eventually being rejected. He doesn’t get close to people, he doesn’t share things, and he doesn’t trust.
He likes to be alone and he believes that that is what he needs, that that will help him on his way to becoming numb to everything and everyone around him. He believes that he doesn’t deserve anything, he doesn’t deserve friends, he doesn’t deserve affection, he doesn’t deserve love. Mikey just doesn’t deserve.
