NaNoWriMo 2016

Hello everyone! I started seriously participating in 2014. I haven't won yet, but I plan on changing that this year. I was going to do a fanfic again, but I came up with a different idea for something original that I'm pretty excited about. It's called Antidote B.

Hi, guys! I managed to win the past two NaNo's but I'm not sure if I'll be able to accomplish it again this year. I already know what I'm going to work on but I have yet to get a story page up. I'll do that asap. I did design the layout already. I just wanted to illustrate my own cover/banner first. I'm Indigo Umbrella and I've added everyone. I'll get my story page up soon!

I've decided that I'm definitely going to be focussing my attention on Purify during November. I was considering swapping two stories in and out but I barely have the attention span for one at the best of times, so it's maybe not the best idea.

This is my second attempt at NaNo. I participated in 2014 but school and real world stuff got in the way. Ha. This year should be a lot calmer (aside from Thanksgiving week) so I'm going to try and get it done this year.

I'm so excited to start writing my story. It literally kills me that I can't start it until next month, lmao.

I'm actually going to try to finish NaNoWriMo this year! I really can't wait to start because this is the first year I'll actually be able to participate without having something distracting going on! I'm AllieTheDino on the NaNo site. This is my exact problem.

I've decided that I'm going to rewrite my story from last year because I was winging that story so hard through the entire month so I ended up with so many plot holes and contradictions that there's no way for me to just patch it up. So there goes another 50k words. I never make progress in any story I write during NaNo because I always end up throwing away literally everything I wrote. MAYBE ONE DAY. I thought maybe I could bounce between two stories because there's another story I wanted to work on but then I cackled at myself. Because I barely have the attention span for one story.

So ANYWAY, are you considering linking people's NaNo logs in the main post too, or nah?

This is going to be my first attempt at NaNoWriMo 2016. I've missed it in years past! So it should be a fun one. My story is going to attempt itself at comedy a little bit. Something that is artistically, well written but has a wonderful sense of humor and lightheartedness.

I'm actually contemplating adding a second story for mines but idk. I wanna focus on Purify for sure, but I'm not actually sure how long it'll be, so I might go for another story alongside it. But that involves 2 separate streams of thought and we all know that I'm virtually useless at multitasking.

My problem is that I have an idea, but I never have a fully fleshed out plot per say—like I have the idea and the characters, but when I start to write, I totally blank out and end up just writing a lot of crap to fill out the word count. So I end up with a lot of dialogue and descriptions and monologue that I wouldn't write normally. I'd probably do better if I wrote two stories to meet 50k instead, but I hate doing that because I'm virtually useless at multitasking too. LET'S START A CLUB.

Hi guys! I'm Hina! I've participated in nanowrimo and camp nano just about every year. As a matter of fact, i won 2012 and 2014 (I can double check in a sec).
