Alexis Anderson's life changed forever one hot day in July during school. Not only was her best friend shot and killed in front of her, but she was shot as well. After a two year coma, Alexis woke up, but she wasn't the same.

Matt Sanders was living his dream of being in a rock bad, but without his twin sister or the girl he thought he could have a future with. They were both shot during a massacre, his sister losing her life while her friend survived in a coma...

So when Matt finds out Alexis woke from her coma, he just had to see her. The brutal killings had changed her, for the worse. She was a drug addict who had sex with any man that would have her. Matt realizes the girl he knew was long gone, but he still hoped she would be the girl he knew and loved from two years ago.
