Chequered Nettle

Kara lives with teenage rock star Logan Hayes. Even though he's hardly there she remains optimistic and refuses to bother him when he comes home late at night. She's so persistent on not being a pebble in his shoe she pays rent for her room and helps maintain the house while Logan's parents are away.

Her reason? She is furiously in love with him. But this is more than just a fan girl crush, in fact she's loved him since they were children singing in the church choir. She did everything he did, which included joining his music classes and displayed a natural talent for music. A talent greater than Logan's singing.

After Logan's band - Via Purifico - is assembled, Kara uses her gift for music to write most of his songs so that he can use them as his own. These songs win Via Purifico almost over night fame, but Kara gets none of it. So long as Logan is happy, Kara is willing to do anything for him in hopes that someday he will come to love her too. However, what Kara refuses realize is that her prince in shinning armor is nothing but a devil in disguise.
