Bones
"...and between us every elegy, all the fallen
language that couldn’t hold its own
and wouldn’t give it back, had no flesh
except how long dust keeps our alphabets.”
- Brian Teare
Nick and Jamie are brothers, but not really. Not by blood, not by what counts. Nick's obsession is art, is beauty; Jamie's obsession is his own bones. Nick cares too much and Jamie doesn't care enough, and this does not bode well.
