Balance Beam

Balance (noun): a state of equilibrium or equipoise.

Giselle Ember Giovanni was born in Rome, Italy more than six hundred years ago. She grew up in a wealthy family that many people looked up to. Being the youngest daughter, her father searched for years trying to find a decent man to marry Giselle. When she as twenty-one her father found the one and shipped her to England to meet her fiancé. She never made it to England. Instead she was turned into a vampire. Giselle has roamed the Earth for 629 years trying to find something, of what she isn’t sure of.

Bram Reid was born September 28, 1986 in Boston, Massachusetts, making him twenty-five. All his life, his parents shoved morals and a long list of things he shouldn’t do in Bram’s face. As a young teen he made a promise to himself to do as much as he can to go against what his parents do. To this day, he’s kept this promise. Bram moved from Boston when he was nineteen, eager to get into the journalism field. For the past five years, Bram has worked at a well-known magazine, writing several articles. Since his drinking has increased, he’s stopped talking to his family altogether. Even though he appears happy, his best friend can see he isn’t.
