What Lies Beneath

Loki returns to earth, he isn't going to let his brother win so easily. He wants what he feels is rightfully is. The only problem is that a mere mortal gets in his way. Loki, fall for a mortal, doesn't he hate them? Yes, he does, all of them, except her. She is a fighter, and she is the one thing that could stop him from making the worst mistake of his existence. She has to figure out what's more important, her pride, or the God that stole her from everything she knew, and made her realize it was possible to care about someone again.
