How to Love

Veronica Polanski is as cold as they come. At least, that's what she'd have you believe. After all, it's easier to deal with things when people believe that you're stony and emotionless. Following her mother's death, she's left to deal with helping run the family's mortuary business, deal with her emotionally unavailable father, clean up the aftermath of her cousin's mistakes, and try to keep her own head above water in a sea of anxiety. Suddenly, her best friend and brother drop the bomb of a lifetime, and Veronica's world is sent spiraling again as she finds that every support system she depends on has been flooded with drama. But by some stroke of luck, she meets Jake Damon, a nice, good-looking guy, and he seems to be everything Veronica needs. But can Jake melt our very own ice princess? And what happens when his own secrets come to light?
