Rainbows Don't Last Forever

This story is a blast in the future four years.

Melody is now 19 and Luke, her fiancé is 18. They are really happy together and things seem great. Luke is in his senor year of high school and Melody is in her freshman year of college. They both share an apartment which is coincidently in the same building as Luke's sister, Melody's best friend Cara, who now has a three year old son, Gabriel.

One thing though.. Melody is unhappy staying in Missouri she needed to get out, she hoped to move to Kentucky because it was her absolute favorite state. She was planning to go to college there but those dreams were crushed when Luke begged her to stay in Missouri, he didn't want to leave. Melody dropped her dream for love. That's what you're supposed to do, right?

That's not the only thing, Melody and Luke have been arguing and one night when Melody is working on an important essay at home Luke does something unbelievable.

This sequel is about Melody choosing between love and dreams. It is also about Luke's choice of holding onto Melody or letting go and being with someone else.

This story is hardly as happy as the last.
