Broken, Beaten, and Bloody

Rue Vendetta is everything any girl would ever aspire to be. Beautiful looks, silky hair, smooth voice, plays a guitar and bass flawlessly, does exceedingly well at school.
One thing about Rue that no one wants is her family. Yes, she is a pure-blood. But what her father does to her is... not something to be proud of.
This breaks down her self esteem, her confidence, and ultimately her life. With no one she trusts enough to confide in, she transfers to Hogwarts in hope of escaping some of her past life. Rue hopes to stay at Hogwarts all year long to try to stay as far away as possible from her father.
She keeps her head down, hood up, along with the invisible walls that no one can break down.
Was this what draws Fred Weasley to her? Such an amazingly talented girl, shield away from the world. One thing puts him on edge around her; the fact that she gets sorted into such an evil house.
